While not every movie theater has to be one with reclining seats you can't reserve seats online and they don't have reclining seats , the least that I would ask is that they clean the floors properly. There has never been a time when I've gone to Hoyt's where the floors in the theater aren't sticky to the point where you can hear your soles sticking to the floor. On a positive note, they are cheaper than other theaters and their popcorn is good.
This theatre is very clean and very nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The popcorn is amazing and the tickets are super affordable. Definitely the best place to see a movie in the area. Will be back.
Was so awesome having the theater to ourselves when I went with my best friend. I've loved this movie theater ever since I was a kid. Their large size popcorn is literally ginormous, we couldn't even finish it. Edit: We went again tonight to see another movie. Just wanted to add that I love the night staff! They're funny and they always seem like they're enjoying their shifts while having a good time.
Never heard of this cinema before, but I'll definitely be back. Went to an 8p.m. screening of Avatar and it wasn't overrun with a bunch of loud ppl. Also the lack of assigned seats meant 3 people could spread out across 2 rows with plenty of room for our coats and snacks without having to fight about the unnecessary space we were taking. I'm not sure how that system works for popular, nearly sold out screenings, but I hope to never find out. The personal pizza from concessions was extra cheesy and really good, too. Almost like 7-Eleven pizza, but less salty. Last but not least, clean bathrooms. No complaints about this little hidden gem.
Went for 6.50 Wednesday. Theater was empty. Seats are older but comfortable. Temperature, lighting and sound, in the theater, was great. Didn't try the concession stand but the prices looked good.
I Attended A Sold Out Screening Of The Movie, "The Woman King," Sponsored By My Rho Xi Omega Sorority Chapter! The Facility And Movie Was Great! It Was An Awesome Experience To Be With My Sorors And Invited Guests!
This is my go to theater for popular movie premieres. There have been many times other theaters have been sold out or full to the brim with other movie goers. I am still paranoid about covid in this cold, flu and covid season but I still like going to the movies. This location allows me to keep my 6 feet between me and other people because the theaters never seem full
Not bad for the price, but that's not much. The restrooms weren't very well maintained and the water fountains didn't work. It will get you a movie for less than the nicer places though.
Scream was a good movie. Just the light wouldn't stop blinking. Or I would of gave 5 stars
The only movie theater I would visit in the Baltimore Metro area for the prices and being able to watch a movie In Peace, so sorry see it close permanently.
