Master Gardener Carol Hudson's passion for gardening led her to launch Hudson Designs in 2013. She treats each project as a work of art that combines her floral knowledge with a customer’s wishes. Carol looks for a balance between spectacular colors and texture and unique variety, while offering a great value. Her attention to detail extends to the vessels she uses for her arrangements and even designs her own containers to complete the look of an arrangement. Carol is well versed in silk plants and botanical accents which she uses for customers who prefer non-living accents to add interest and warmth to their home, business or event.
Carol has always been passionate about gardening. At first it was an outlet from her full time work in financial systems. Then during a quest to plant a deer-proof garden, the hobby bloomed into a passion that led Carol to volunteer at the Bartlett Arboretum in Stamford, CT where she worked in the perennial gardens and created container displays. In 2008 she became a Master Gardener and completed her internship working for the Massachusetts Horticultural Society on the Rose Kennedy Greenway in Boston and Elm Bank in Wellesley. Carol is an active volunteer at Elm Bank to this day.
