Good cut and good atmosphere, BUT bad customer service! How so, Been 4 times each time my barber has had to ask what we were doing and just couldn’t remember how to cut my hair. Great clips takes notes, and remembers! The fourth visit I made to the Hawk the barber said, there was a lunch meet to get to for a friend’s birthday. And won’t have time to wash out and style the cut today. No discount or gift card was offered for the reduction in service. Was as if it was NO BIG DEAL and maybe even a COMMON OCCURRENCE. Went in for the fifth time and the last! I was told to come back or reschedule due to the barber running behind 25 minutes or more. Again, like it’s NO BIG DEAL, to the guy behind the counter telling me. Last but not least you can’t even call the actual shop you are directed to, well not sure where! Hey maybe they can’t call out either and that’s why they didn’t start calling customers to come later if possible or reschedule. Or that’s part of customer relations and that they lack.
Been getting my hair cut by Bailey for about a year now, always does a great job! I've had to get last minute cuts with others in the shop who also do a great job every time. I'll always get my hair cut here as long as I live in the area!
I am graduating this weekend told the barber why I was there and that it was a big deal to me and went in just to get cleaned up and was very clear that I wanted a taper. The girl cutting my hair took taper to mean mid/high fade and buzzed the sides of my head so the one time I walk in my life will be with an undercut I didn’t want… I was clear in what I wanted and figured the BARBER would know what a taper is, or at-least ask what I meant since I was clear I just got my hair cut a week prior and barely wanted anything off, and that is not at all what happened. Can’t put in to word how upset I am, years has gone in to this weekend and I have done EVERYTHING I could to make it go smoothly and I would have been better off not getting my hair cut today. She said “ I just do a mid FADE if they don’t specify”.. Well i did specify when I said taper and don’t appreciate it when she makes it sound like I’m the one at fault.

Staff is great, place and location are great! Very personable people with good conversation. Experienced barbers. Mustache was was a little lopsided but other than that shave was nice!

Wanted to try something new with my hair and was pretty sure my previous barber wouldn’t be able to pull it off so I went here. Picked Shelby as my barber at random and I can honestly say that this is the first time I have ever gotten exactly what I asked for even though I didn’t really know how to describe it lol. I can’t remember the last time I got a haircut and didn’t have to fix something with scissors when I got home. She took the time to ask questions and understand what I wanted before getting to it, and asked questions along the way to make sure she was doing it right. Extremely impressed and will definitely be going back!Service: Fade cut
