We made another visit to Hudson's furniture on a weekday in August 2023. Hudsons has a fairly large selection of furniture. Some of the furniture seemed to be of decent quality. But some wasn't all that great either. The prices on average were quite high. I viewed more than one set or prices that I have seen elsewhere. The problem is the Hudson's furniture was drastically higher for the exact same brand and furniture, that one could buy elsewhere. We did find some unique pieces that we could have an interest in. But we have held off knowing the price differences on other items we have seen. So at this point, we have not made a purchase at Hudson's. More than likely, we probably won't. When your 50% off sales prices are still drastically higher than the same items at competing retailers, I have to ask why? And worse yet: If they actually normally sell this furniture for the listed normal prices, then I really have to ask why? Or is this just a sales ploy saying it's a sale price, to get folks to believe they're getting some kind of deal? Some deal!
We purchased a sectional sofa in March and understood delivery would be made as the sections were available. The last piece of six pieces was delivered in May, but the delivery guys broke part of the frame when they attempted to connect the last part. A reorder was made and we didn’t get the new section until the end of June. The new piece is six inches shorter than the other sections and is not the same item we ordered. The sales associate, Tina business card says she is a manager has no explanation says she will contact supplier but never called to report any resolution. A few weeks later I called her and she asked if anyone came to check serial number. Waited a few weeks more and called for status. Tina does not return phone calls. At one point I asked for a statement of our account and none was ever provided. This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. I would avoid dealing with this store and specifically Tina.
Ordered four powered swivel rocker recliners from Hudson’s. Love the quality. Love that they are battery powered and not plugged in all the time. Love the quality. Tina offered great sales help. Only exception was we did not need battery packs as they come preinstalled. We are returning the extra batteries. Not a big deal. Delivery and set up was flawless! Highly recommend Hudson’s!
My experience started with our sales person, Taylor in the Ocala store and just finished with the delivery of my new couch. Taylor was amazing! He was patient, knowledgeable and NOT pushy. He genuinely made me feel that my satisfaction was MOST important, not the sale. So much so, even though I didn’t buy my first time through, I went back and made sure he was my sales person again. The deliver went off without a problem, other than it was raining. The guys were efficient and professional. We’ll see how the couch holds up but it is just as I expected.
The entire Hudson’s experience was excellent. Jessica is an awesome interior designer and was very helpful. The delivery was outstanding. They were on-time, very polite and did a great job moving the furniture into place.
Hats off to Zach at Hudson's Furniture. Zach was both personable and professional. He went above and beyond with outstanding service. He kept the store open beyond closing time so we could get exactly what we needed. He provided knowledgeable options for us and was willing to be creative in helping us put together a quality furniture package that's beautiful and functional. I highly recommend Hudson's Furniture. Ask for Zach.
Kiah was a great design consultant. He listened closely to my ideas and needs and worked off of a photo of the unfinished room I’d shown him. He helped me zero in on a few great upholstery choices that were complimentary to the room, and we ultimately designed a finishing piece that I’m excited about! Sometimes I can get stuck with design decisions, but Kiah made the whole process easy, breezy and fun!
The customer service experience was outstanding. Our sales rep, Heath, proactively reached out to us from a web/text inquiry and went above and beyond to help us. He was very knowledgeable about all the products we reviewed. He genuinely cared that we understood the pros and cons of each piece and worked to get us the information we needed to make a good decision. Strongly recommend!
Wonderful group from Charles the designer, Cheryl the saleswoman to Jessie the manager. They all were patient, understanding and very helpful! I was quite pleased and suggest you see them before buying from any other store.
We were lucky enough to be greeted by Kiah Manning. The experience only got better from there. Kiah was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. His knowledge of product is second to none. During the entire process we were never pressured and Kiah designed an ensemble of pieces that are so comfortable and esthetically pleasing. After this experience we would not shop anywhere else.
