The store clerk was following me around the store. It's my first time being in Cali and I get it, there's a lot of shoplifting going on in this state. I bought 2 drinks and the register said $3.50 but ended up being $6 for an arizona and a Mela drink which is a total rip off. Wasnt provided with a receipt to see the breakdown cost. I like to avoid confrontation so I didn't say anything.
Super cool place. Attendant a very cool guy, always have what I need, definitely a solid place and definitely recommend.
It's under new management and they have completely changed the appearance of the store and I think they no longer sell a lot of the stuff I used to specifically go in there to buy like Nag Champa incense. I also think the prices are not the same as what the Asian owner's used to charge but I am not 100 percent certain on that.. Change is hard for me like a lot of people. I have lived here for around 23 years and was very saddened to see the previous owners no longer working there. I think the new people even took out the cool surfboard that hung in the store but I am not 100 percent sure on that either. The store definitely looks completely different than it did just 1 month ago and that makes me sad. I wish it had stayed like it has been for the past 20 some years.
My sister accidentally broke her Calypso glass drinks and i demand the replacement of her Calypso drink but the cashier guy who i thought he was the nicest and understand but i was wrong.... He just yelled at me..... I have Auditory processing hearing disorder, he don't need to yell at me. I just wanted him to speak more clearly so i can understand. My brain don't catch words sometimes. My sister is VERY THIRSTY! I just payed for that drink! We have a bad day of our morning beach walk. Gee thanks a lot. Maybe this is my last time going there. It breaks my heart seeing my sister walk all the way home being so very thirsty. Why can't he understand?
New owner. Very polite service. Vendors charge higher prices this close to the Beach, but this store is not as expensive as others.
Love going there. The owners are awesome.

Umm...this place is NOT open until 11pm...currently standing outside closed doors at 10:12 pm
