Everything was great and everyone was respectful and treated me kindly except for one person. I went to see the ER ultrasound technician. She hurt me. She was too rough. She didn't listen and ignored me when I told her she was hurting me and that what she was doing was burning me. There were no pads or tampons in the ultrasound room and she acted very rude to me when i asked for one. She ignored me when I was literally crying because it hurt. She ignored me and made snide comments when i said it was burning. She treated me like I was an animal the entire time I was having that done, and she had left the door open with the wheel chair in the way and my open back gown was exposed to another patient who was a man! And he kept staring at me and wouldn't stop staring! She had no respect for my privacy as a patient and treated me like an animal! I went back two days later and the new doctor I had in the ER was wonderful. He was very nice, did everything properly, and listened to me. He did what I needed to make me better. I bumped up from two stars to 3. The thin guy with the short dark hair, he's an amazing doctor.
My son went in for an outpatient procedure today. The entire experience was great; from check-in to post-op. All of the staff were very friendly and professional. The pre-op nurse was so good with calming our son before his procedure. The post-op nurses were great and took such great care of our boy.
I can’t say enough about how friendly, supportive, and professional everyone was during my outpatient procedure. I feel like I received exceptional medical care from a very friendly group of professionals. I was made aware of everything happening and was listened to when I had a question. Very thankful to everyone.
My sister, mom and I were on the greyhound from Dallas to knoxville. My mom had a medical emergency and was sent to HRMC to be evaluated. The nurses and doctor were so friendly and helpful. They were thorough and it didn't take too long. .I have to give a shout out to EMS as well. They were awesome and took our luggage in another car and brought to hospital. A lady in the lobby gave us a fund a word puzzle to kill time. Hospitals in TN are good, but doesn't take the extra steps to make you feel at ease. These folks were wonderful
This is a late review, and I apologize for the delay. My daughter was experiencing some serious health issues, and we drove to Greenville for her to be seen by Hunt Regional Medical Center. She was immediately taken back to triage, and they admitted her into the ICU where she was diagnosed with her illness. The medical staff was absolutely amazing and attentive to her care. This hospital literally saved my daughter's life, and we are truly grateful for the care she received. They also provided her with some education before leaving the hospital to take care of her illness until she found a primary care physician. Thank you!
As a disabled mother with a 7 week old newborn I needed to check my daughter into the ER for a possible hand fracture… I was helping, watching my friends kids inside her car outside, while she went inside to say goodbye to her loved one as they pulled the plugs. During this time, my daughter gets her hand slammed in the car door. I called inside the hospital to ask for help because I could not leave her kids inside the car and bring my daughter in with my infant son to get seen… my mother needed to watch her kids… as I get inside using one of the wheelchairs they provided the security guy just left me in the waiting room with the packet form to fill out and no one to help me… I am disabled mind you and my daughters hand is possibly broken. The wait time was hours and hours long. I did not anticipate having to go to the ER.… And I was not able to get any more formula that I already had prepare for. I also ran out of diapers… I was struggling in the fact that no one is able to help is insane to me. No one offered any help or suggestions they just said I’m sorry… I ended up not being able to have my daughter seen because I had to make sure my infant son was not starved… ended up going to a different hospital where they have staff that cares and helps….
This place does not seem to take people’s health seriously. I arrived with my son who had a foot injury. There were four people waiting ahead of us. We waited 3 hours and Not A Single Person was called back. One lady was in obvious distress and seeked help repeatedly without resolution. Everyone seemed to be on lunch break at the same time as food was being consumed and or delivered right at the check in area. We decided to leave as it was obvious my son was not going to be helped unless we stayed beyond 8 hours! There definitely needs to be someone to take initiative and get things going. I understand wait times can be long but for no one to be helped in 3 hours seems a bit ridiculous!
They don't have enough staff to work and you find yourself in the waiting room for hours waiting. Once you get back to the room you wait longer. Once you get seen they don't do a complete work up on you like they should, do tell you much about what they found out. Was there for over 3 hours. My husband was in pain and didn't seem like they cared. No pain meds no nothing. The nurse came in didn't know anything and then the Dr came in after standing at the desk talking and asking about coffee. Tried to act like she cared but just looked at my husbands shoulder when we came in for his elbow. we got to sit here for another hour before going home cause she went to the desk and started talking again and not working
Very friendly place and are concerned about their patients. They explain everything to you right and make sure that all your questions or concerns are answered. The nurses are very friendly and take good care of you. Definitely would go back if I ever needed anything else done.
My son was admitted today after going to the ER this morning with symptoms of a heart attack. Twelve hours later and still hasn't been seen by a cardiologist. Around 11am a maintenance guy came to his room and started taking down a soiled ceiling tile located above his bed. What the heck? The tile was moldy and fragments falling. So much for the quality of care and concern for your patients.
