Robert (Bo) Hunter received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law in December of 1982, following his work as President and General Manager of WAUG and WHGI radio stations in Augusta. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Economics from Davidson College. Admitted to the State Bar of Georgia in January of 1983, Bo began his career as a sole practitioner and continues that tradition as The Hunter Law Firm today. While maintaining his private practice, Bo also served in public office as the Solicitor General of the State Court of Richmond County, prosecuting misdemeanors from 1988 to 1996. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Georgia, United States Supreme Court, Georgia Court of Appeals, Supreme Court of Georgia, United States Federal Court of the Southern District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Middle District of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
