Huntsville Executive Airport - KMDQ / Tom Sharp Jr. Field is a general aviation airport serving Huntsville and north Madison County, Alabama.
The mission of the Madison County Executive Airport Authority (MCEAA) is to provide quality and user-friendly general aviation services and stimulate the economic and industrial growth and development of north Madison County. The Authority - including The Madison County Executive Airport - is a completely self-sufficient operation. Grant and operating funds are not taken from the general tax fund, but are aviation related monies, including local airport end-user fees.
