My go to car wash where I can spend 20 bucks and fully detail my vehicle. The manual blower tip kept falling off on me in the stall 2 from the left. But besides that, a wonderful experience.
Pretty okay car wash. Tricoat gun in bay #3 had inconsistent pressure. The handheld blower is pretty decent.
Today I was at this car wash, and I had happened to lock myself out of my car on accident with my phone inside the car. I saw the only manager of the car wash at the time and approached him to ask if I could borrow his phone to call my mother as I am only 18. He ask my why I need to call my mom, and I told him why and he says to my face “haha, that’s sucks” and walks away. I will never use that car wash again for this reason. Terrible customer service, and way over priced as is. Thanks.
$5.00 is the cheapest wash on the automatic. That does not include the blow dry. Seems like most automatic washes include drying with even the cheapest option. It did get the car pretty clean. There were some spots it could have done better but for a quick wash not too bad. No free vacuums at this one.
For 2 reasons....the bays always seem to have large amounts of mud and debris in them when I go to wash my vehicle. The Air Dryers used to blow much harder and warm air too. I know bay 1 doesn't work well at all and neither does the airdryer in Bay 2. This car wash also has a companion app that you can download. You can use it to activate the auto washes as well as the washbays. It bills your debt card you save in app. It also keeps track of how often you use the wash and you can earn free washes with the app too. When the onsight employee is there he is very nice and helpful. I do feel that if a patron messes up a washbay that it should be cleaned post haste especially on busy days. There's no reason for a washbay to be filled up with mud and debris @ 1700hrs. I feel they should be cleaned before leaving the property. If they catch someone trying to leave a bay like that..... Then they should have a talk with that individuals and make them spray out their mess. On the carwashs dime of course. I shouldn't have to wash my car then have to spray out my wheel wells and tires when I get home because I got mud on them leaving.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this car wash washed my truck on the deluxe mode... $8
Hands down my favorite car wash! Love that I can use the app to start it etc!
Hurricane Bay Carwash usually has someone working there during open hours. This is helpful if you need change for large bills or have any problems. Many car washes you are on your own. I go to Hirricane because I like to wash my vehicles manually. The autowashes are fine but I can do better manually. Especially with my truck, it's a 4 wheel drive and is raised, it just seems to be better when I do it myself. The soap seems to do the trick as well as the foam, scrub brush, wax and tire cleaner. They have good water pressure. The bays are always clean. The vacuums are fine and they have all the towels, window wipes and the like for sale. They have two auto wash bays, one with sprayers, the other with the brushes. Both of those have dryers. They have added manual dryers to the manual wash bays as well. The bays take coin, paper and plastic. No complaints, will go back.
We used the self serve car wash. We used the credit card pay and it gave plenty of time for the price. We used the tire scrub and scrub brush and it gave plenty of soap to do the job well. We high powered rinsed and blew dry. I think I will skip the bow drying next time. It didn't do very much to drying the vehicle.
