The gym at Husker Health offers the newest cardiovascular, fitness and strength training equipment to work out both the upper and lower body and improve your cardiovascular health. Whether you are an athlete, a senior with health concerns or simply looking to get in shape, we have a program for you!
Husker Health's trained exercise professionals conduct an initial assesment on each new member. During this visit, members will review their eating habits, health history, etc and have their body composition tested to determine their body fat percentage and lean body mass. Members will also receive education on caloric intake and nutrition. Following initial assesment, members will be taken out to the gym and shown the pieces of equipment that have been selected for their workout. Our staff will instruct members on how to set the equipment, proper posture, repetitions and rest periods, everything you will need to know for a safe effective workout. Members will have a workout card created for them that can be used each time they return to the gym.
Re-evaluations of your progress are also included in your membership to assure success! These are scheduled at intervals you arrange with your exercise professional. During this one on one appointment you will have your body composition re-tested and your nutrition and exercise routines reviewed.
Personal Training is also available to those people that want to get the most out of their workouts. It is the fastest way members can see results and achieve their goals. Specific resistance training, cardio routines and nutrition programs are put in place for each persoanl training client based on thier goals, needs and fitness levels. Motivation and accountablility are also included with your personal trainer!!
