I was driving in the area last year and saw this place on the side of the road. It looked pretty cool so I decided to stop and give it a try. First off, I like the concept. They have a truck and a few tables and chairs set up in the back. As far as food, I got the soft shell crab, green tomatoes, and cheese grits. Everything was fried. It was all ok, but quite greasy. Overall, not bad but not great.
The best catfish I have ever had. Do not be fooled by the small establishment they are serving amazing food. Not only is the food amazing, the prices are great. On first impression you will see a simple shack on the side of the road and I promise you if you stop it will be 100% worth it. Order the catfish sandwich combo all the way and you will not be sorry. Southern born and raised and it doesn’t get better than this.
Absolutely delicious!!! Super nice folks, huge portions, incredibly reasonable prices, and amazing food. They have outdoor covered seating and it’s so nice and relaxed. Can’t wait to come back.
I ate at Huttons a few weeks ago. I had the loaded po boy can't remember the name, with shrimp, fish, and scallops. It was outstanding. The sides were great too. Staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend stopping by for lunch. You won't be disappointed.
We'd been by this food truck type establishment on 319 several times, and noticed it stays busy, so we stopped. I'm so glad we did! I got the grouper basket with fried green tomatoes and green beans. The beans are clearly homemade, with bacon and onion. The tomatoes were thick sliced and flavorful without the need for any condiment. The grouper was delicious, crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside. My husband got the seafood po' boy. It looked so good, and he LOVED it. We will definitely be back!
Had a shrimp sandwich & fries. Both were super delicious. The shrimp & fries fried to perfection. Young lady was super sweet, helpful [first time there] and patient. I plan to return as often as I am capableFood: 5/5
Listen, hands down best soft shell crab sandwich around. Just recently tried the fried grouper sandwich n I mean to tell u... perfectly cooked. I try to visit as often as possible and it's worth it every time.Food: 5/5

Stopped here for lunch after a river boat cruise in Crawfordville. Our tour guide on the boat recommended this place as being a good place to get seafood. It was very hot outside today and the heat index was very high but we thought, what the heck! Let's try it under the shelter with a fan blowing on us. A Fried Shrimp Dinner and Fried Oyster Dinner was ordered with fries and slaw as the sides. We each shared the seafood so we could get a taste of both. When ordering the Oyster Dinner, we were asked if we wanted it Normal, Medium or Extra Crispy. We have never had this asked before so we ordered it medium. It was a wise choice as they were cooked exactly like we had always eaten them. The Fried Shrimp were crispy but not overcooked. The slaw had chopped sweet pickles in it, a true southern delight! The french fries were the usual crinkle cut but were freshly cooked. The Hush Puppies did not taste homemade but rather like something out of a bag in the freezer. This was a wise choice for lunch and I would not hesitate to return in a heartbeat!
