Very helpful staff, meat section is always impeccable. Unfortunately today they did not have any pork pineapple brat burgers. The store is so large with so many things. It takes a couple visits to get used to what is where. Very clean though
This hyvee is amazing! They have such a good selection of everything! The prices are great and the products are top quality. Loved the Basin section. I love the concept of shampoo and conditioner bars and trying to use less plastic in day to day life. Wonderful store!! Highly recommend!
Very very nice store. Probably the best one they have, the only knock I have is the direction the front of the building faces. The sun was so bright I couldn't see all that great. They need shades on those upper windows.
It is incredibly depressing how badly this hyvee has gone downhill. They don’t keep the self checkouts open anymore. There was one lane open i felt so bad for the kid working all by himself. No one to help at self checkout that 2 were closed and blinking. A lot of produce and stuff is expired, i bought I sauce that expired the 19th of July. The beef was expired, it was insane. They’re so concerned about theft they can’t even fix the store. Open your self checkouts, stop bragging about having insurance and then you wouldn’t have theft. It wouldn’t be an issue if your prices were lower
I want to give this store all of my business, but I can't afford to. The prices are consistently 30% higher than local competitors. Items often ring up incorrectly. More often than not, I end up at the service desk for a price adjustment to reconcile the errors. It is tough to bring my small kids shopping here knowing I will have to be on my toes watching all of the prices and spend extra time at the service desk. I have spoken with local and higher management over the past year, and have not seen any improvements. It's disappointing that such a large corporation has so many issues with pricing that isn't competitive and frequent price errors.
This location has gone downhill SO much. I know it’s my fault for not checking, but this would be the 2nd time I have bought expired milk. Why is it still in the fridge???? They’re never stocked, so sometimes I’ll have to make a trip up to Cub Foods. Only reason why I went recently was to grab something Cub didn’t carry. The quality of the produce is disappointing as well. The bagged romaine is usually brown and slimy looking. Even if you go over to the unpackaged romaine, the leaves are brown and/or yellow. Only giving them two stars because they do carry some items I can’t get at Cub, but then apparently you have to check the expiration date on everything. It use it be great, but now just very inconvenient.
Overall great store but I think they waste space by having the clothing section and the health food section. That’s almost 1/4 of the store. I doubt many people shop those sections. Pretty empty when I go by them.
Clean meat and organized. Prices are higher than Walmart not much sale. If you saw the price advertised on the app and it doesn’t show the correct price u gotta get them to fix it at check out..
I will never understand why you would make so many self-checkouts when you shut almost all of them off. And don’t say it’s because you don’t have anyone to monitor them because nobody monitors any of the self checkouts any of the time. This used to be the cream of the crop for grocery stores and it has gone down the drain. The remodel and newish layout still makes no sense. The app used to tell you were things were and now it’s not exact and often wrong. Nobody who works there knows where anything is. I’m so disappointed in how this has become a place I loathe going.
I like shopping at hyvee but every time we try to get hibachi it's either but there are 5 other people standing behind the Chinese bar and they aren't willing to help? Just stand around. Think these people need to be cross trained.
