I have stayed here several times on business. They have been under remodel but very unobtrusive to the stay. The remodeled rooms are very nice. The staff is very communicative about the construction and do what they can to compensate for that. I will definitely continue to stay here. Convenient drive to food, gas, etc..Rooms: 5/5
We had a small vacation and ended with 3 different hotel stays during our trip. This place is by far the best for our standards and customer service was a huge plus even though they were under construction and remodeling. The breakfast was great. We had a slight problem during our one night stay but they went beyond and above to fix the problem. We had a room that may or may not be remodeled but the customer service and welcome feeling topped it off. We felt very comfortable and felt safe during the stay. Our sleep was great. If we're every around the area, we will definitely book this hotel again.
Great hotel! They are doing construction during the day but it didn't impact our stay at all. We stayed in one of the newly renovated rooms which were huge and gorgeous. Such a clean place. Hot breakfast was amazing. Took a dip in the outdoor pool which was great! I also loved the fact that they had restrooms by the lobby because I forgot to go to the bathroom before we left the hotel and was able to stop and go. Rooms: The new rooms are super spacious with plenty of USB ports.
I travel frequently for work and have stayed at hundreds of hotels around the country. I've never had a better experience or been treated better than I have at this hotel. The staff are absolutely amazing! Smiles for days. Always willing to help or accommodate. Truly, the most polite people I've met. I can't recommend a better place to stay in or near Kansas City than this Hyatt. I'll definitely be staying here the next time I'm in the area.
The room was nice, the breakfast was nice, super clean. The construction was awful. We chose this hotel because of the later checkout time as we needed a place for someone to sleep at night and someone else who was going to sleep during the day before checkout. That was impossible as it was so loud the room was shaking by 9 am. The noise was overwhelming. We did not know about construction until after checkin and only because of signs on the elevator, due to timing we had to go ahead and stay and couldn’t change hotels. Had we known before hand we would have selected another Hyatt location.
This is a typical Hyatt place with a little less amenities. No indoor pool. The breakfast is average at best but still a nice perk. Coffee is really good! The rooms don't have Chromecast and could use a tech upgrade but all in all would stay here again. The front desk team was very nice and flexible. Anthony did a great job helping me switch rooms.
This is a renovated Hyatt Place, super beautiful inside, very welcoming staff, seemed to service young professionals. I enjoyed my time here and have stayed at Hyatt places all over the country. I really do enjoy their new renovations.Rooms: 5/5
Bed bugs! I had a 3-night stay at this hotel. Great and very pleasant staff, good hotel, some renovation going on. Unfortunately, I had bed bugs in my room and I did not realize it at first. I thought I only had random large mosquito bites on my arms and legs. I only realized those were actually bed bugs after I got home and my wife discovered that "each large bite" was actually a series of 3-5 small bites close to each other so I was not able to recognize bed bugs bites. Message was sent to hotel via the app and text message, awaiting for their response.
Everything is really great. Except they should warn the guests of the renovation going on above their rooms. Nothing like waking up out of a dead sleep to what sounds like a drill coming thru the ceiling or a jack hammer pounding the ceilings . Really wanted a relaxing morning but that was not allowed starting at 9 am.Rooms: 4/5
We spent the night here with our family in their suite. We were here visiting for the super bowl parade. This place is really nice. They did have construction going on so that kind of sucked but other than that everything was nice. Our room was very spacious. It had two double beds and a pulled out couch which was great for the five of us. The breakfast they served was wonderful. You had hot eggs, hash browns bagels toast sausages etc etc. Everything you need for a good breakfast. The staff was friendly and very welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay here and would come here again next time!
