Hyatt Place Wilmington Riverfront

Ever since covid, customer service in hotels has drastically gone downhill. But Abby Lewis has been INCREDIBLE. We book meetings twice a year for about 30 groups for corporate meetings. Whenever we are in this area I will 100% come back to this hotel for HER. She has been so accommodating regardless of how much we had to make changes. And she does it with such a friendly demeanor. This hotel is lucky to have someone like her on their team. GIVE HER A RAISE ASAP!

This is a wonderful hotel, modern design and minimalist. I Had the waterfront view room It was calm and relaxing. It's a good location. The staff is friendly. A huge thank you to all the team Hyatt Place Wilmington I am already planning on returning there in a few weeks.

So glad I found this hotel. Beautiful setting. Bar w/ happy hour and a great patio with a view of the river. Anyone can enjoy the bar, patio and live jazz style music. Holly, the bartender, makes awesome drinks! Thank you Holly. The Rooms are very clean and spacious. All the staff has been courteous, engaging, and helpful. Definitely a go to hotel for Wilmington, DE. Great job Hyatt Place Riverfront.

We stayed here for 1 night during our road trip. Went to dinner next door, came back while it was drizzling and our TV didn't have service. I had to call the front desk from my cellphone as the room phone didn't work. The receptionist stated, "It's a storm that's what happens." As if I was supposed to know that. Other than that, the room and hotel was decent. No microwave in the room, only a fridge. Beds were okay. Breakfast was good. Lake behind hotel was nice for pix. Lots of parking and it's free. Don't think I'll stay here for longer than 1 night. Rooms: Room was decent, didn't have a view. Room phone didn't work, had to call the front desk from my personal phone. TV didn't have service. Nearby activities: Nice walking path by the lake behind hotel. Seen children's museum across the way as well. They also have a Planet Fitness next door if you want to work out. Walkability: A lot of food restaurants nearby, no need to drive. Food & drinks: The breakfast was great. They had french toast, eggs, sausage, fruit, cereal, bacon bits, orange juice, etc.

This was suppose to be a very special day for my husband and I. We received several complaints from our guest that arrived how rude and disrespectful the staff was towards my guest. Except KELLY who was great help to me and my guest. She need to get a promotion. Very nice and kind My husband gave up extra money toward our overage, but still the rudeness continue towards my guest. Furthermore when we view this location it was never told that 300 could fit inside Hyatt we were given the that count of 200. In which a Romania wedding was on Sunday 8/6/23 and their total count was 300 and they were told about a bridal suite that was not told to us when we did are inspection for the location. I truly believe we where dealt with the short end of the stick, because Hyatt had to get prepare for the Sunday wedding. I really not trying to place a race card, but that what my husband, guest and I feel this was. Also, let me add the bride of the Romania wedding invited my husband and I to her wedding. This is how all the information was given to us.

We stayed here over the weekend to celebrate my wife's birthday and it was awesome. The team went above and beyond our expectations by not only putting some flowers that I had delivered placed in the room they also put a hand written card and a few treats in the room for her! I was super surprised and my wife was so happy. I want to call out Ranada at the front desk who was so kind and always smiling and asking how we were doing. She's the kind of person Hyatt needs to clone and put in every location. Also, the hotel and our was clean and comfortable and the location is perfect with a ton of stuff to do well within walking distance. The AC in our room was pretty loud, but I sort of like the sound when I'm sleeping. The breakfast was very good too with delicious and hot food.

Clean and comfortable, modern hotel. Good breakfast included in the stay. Not a bad hotel bar either. A lot of events going on next door and reception were a bit funny about asking to leave cases until 1pm due to all the events...

We held a wedding reception in their event space and couldn't be happier. The food was excellent, the staff were helpful, and the venue was lovely on the waterfront. Most guests stayed overnight. A big breakfast is included with your stay which is very nice . I was very pleased overall!

Greeted by friendly staff in a clean lobby! The room was clean and comfortable as expected. Located on the corner of the building with a view of the water way and city, the room offered the best best of sunrises and sunsets. Buffet style Breakfast was top notch with warms foods from pancakes to eggs. 3 restaurants located walking distance inside of the parking lot for lunch and dinner. The 1 and only negative was a dead battery on our electronic door. We had to make several trips to the desk at "check in" in order to gain entry to our room.

This is an incredible hotel. Outstanding staff. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel pampered. I have never stayed in such an awesome room. Light, bright, riverfront space. Bed so comfortable. Sunrise spectacular. Breakfast superb. We will be back.
