Hyde Park Hudson River

It's a smaller park, but it is very relaxing and quiet. The park is clean and neat and the views of the river are excellent. The occasional train passing by adds to the kids thrill and enjoyment. This park is great and I would recommend it to anyone. Playground: The playground is small. There are two sets of swings and one big and one little slide. If you want large climbing frames this playground is not for you. Restrooms: There is one clean and neat porto-potty. Not the end all of end all's, but will do in a pinch. Picnic area: They have a huge covered Bavarian Beer House style picnic area. There are almost a dozen picnic bench/table units and there are garbage cans to get rid of your waste. It's open air so be mindful of that if you don't like nature interrupting your eating.

Nice place to sit and relax. There’s a small playground for the kids and the view is pretty good. There’s also a big gazebo to sit in during rain .

Quiet and very clean. Offers a great view of the Hudson and some Amtrak trains. The museum is also pretty cool and very well kept.

Great place to stop and eat chipotle with a view. Garbage cans and an outhouse there also

Beautiful views of the river! Stinks there's a fence in your way but of course it's for protection from the train tracks. Nice little playground area for kids and a pavilion with tables in case it's raining. And they have a port-a-potty!

Nice little spot especially to watch a sunset.

I love sitting by the river, there is something so peaceful about it. Here it's always so quiet and there's a place for you do quite a bit,even a little play area for the kids, a pavilion as well as the old train station.

It was beautiful, maybe a little chilly with breeze from the river, but on the whole it was a lovely place to enjoy the senior lunch from the Dutchess County Office of the Aging.

One of my favorite places to go, I sit and relax, lay in the sun, just relax. A couple of spots are out of the way and have a great view of the river!
