The I GOT YOU NEXT experience is an authentic, yet modern barbershop experience. We’ve taken the best of the barbershop and combined it with modern touches like high speed internet access, web based reservations, and big flat panel televisions.

All of that said, I GOT YOU NEXT barbers aren’t stuck in the past. We do excellent traditional barbershop haircuts, but we can also handle trendy styles and long hair as well. No matter what your style, you’ll leave our shop looking better than you ever have. From flattops to faux hawks, we’re the best at cutting men’s hair because that’s all we do. We’re not “stylists” and you won’t find smelly color or perm solutions in our shop. What you will find is the best haircut you’ve ever had.

Hi, I am piggybacking on Michele’s review regarding her grandson’s mullet mishap. I’m his Mother. I just wanted to say thank you to the owner who responded quickly. I have taken him here previously and he has been happy with his interaction and cut. This time was a bad situation, esp because Senior portraits are in two days. He obviously was too upset to try and go back to have it fixed - which was OK with me, I wasn’t going to force him. Plus it was too late, the cut wasn’t fixable to what he wanted. At the end of the day, I think folks just want to be listened to - and this didn’t happen. I will try and convince my son to come back to the first barber he met with because they vibed so well. I’m including pics of before, during, and after - we had to buzz it. Kid was looking for more of a Theo Von cut but instead, he got P¡nk. :/ Thanks again for your quick response - it’s a learning moment for all.
Absolutely amazing experience every time I go here for a cut. Beck Beck the Transformer is always coming up with new designs for my undercut and pays such attention to detail. Beck is passionate about her work and always striving to make every client happy. As someone with long hair I was not sure if going to a barber shop would be "socially acceptable" but everyone there is welcoming and really brightens my day. Beck, Orlando, and Ray are so much fun to interact with during my cuts and they are truly great people. I always look forward to my appointments. Well worth the hour drive to Groton from central CT. I have been going to I Got you Next barber stop on and off for years. My current barber Beck is an amazing barber. Not only does she do an awesome job cutting / styling hair, she is very personal and has an awesome personality and really connects with her clients. I have also seen how the other barbers in the shop interact with each other and their clients, and it is great to see and hear the joy and laughter that comes out of this place. I highly recommend this shop to anyone who wants a great experience along with a great haircut.

My 17-year-old grandson called and made an appointment with who was available that afternoon on a Friday. When he came in I heard him tell the female barber I want to fade the sides, and leave the length of my hair. By the time she had finished with this young man he had what’s called a modern mullet. His hair has been cut very short on the top and around the back and left like a tail at the neighbor of his neck and he was shaved like he would a buzz cut! He had saved his first summer job tips at an ice cream shop to pay for this himself for the first time.. in four days, he was having his senior class portrait done by professionals, and she was told this. She never listen to what he asked her to do. She just did what she wanted to do and it looked exactly what her hair look like… And she was telling the other two barbers that were within your distance how good she is at doing a mullet… Nothing about what he wanted done so it was some sort of show for them, and she took pictures of his sides of his head and back on her phone. He was so upset, when we left, he went to his friends house, and they decided to correct it and buzz most of his hair off… He says he probably is going to have to wear a hat for the next month, and for his senior class portrait this is a kid with gorgeous hair, and is a good looking kid and had grown his hair out for two months to be able to have this certain hairstyle… She charged him 40 some dollars… On his personal bank account card and he tipped her $15 as well. He’s a very well behaved considerate young man and didn’t want to hurt her feelings and was shocked and still is today… I hope the owners read these reviews and realize it’s important to listen to what the client has to say, and spend a little more time with young people before they begin changing the way they look, which is so important to their self-esteem , I think he will find a different place to go from now on course… Thank you for reading Michele MillerService: Haircut
Just wanted to drop a review of a haircut I got from Beck The Transformer. I usually get my haircut at a place close to my house, one of those franchise places. Beck spent time and attention getting my hair right, which was very comforting since I get nervous sometimes when a new place cuts my hair. I couldn't have been more pleased with my cut. I actually got compliments from coworkers! 10/10 would go again next time I'm in the area.Service: Haircut

Big kudos to Beck @ I Got You Next Barbershop! Beck has been cutting my hair since her cosmetology school days. Before I’m even seated she’s asking questions about what we’re doing that day. She doesn’t just talk the talk either - she delivers. Throughout the experience, she checks in to make sure things are progressing as I envisioned and changes it up if needed. At the end of the cut, she always gives me one last chance to make changes before I head out. Oh, and let’s not forget all those times Beck saved the day when my impulsive DIY haircuts didn’t quite turn out as planned. Don’t take my word for it though, check out that insta, she’s .
I’ve been going here to get my haircut for years and I’ve jumped around to some of the barbers. They are all genuinely fantastic. They listen to you and make sure that you are always ok with what they are doing. Personally, I’ve been seeing BeckTheTransformer for almost a year now and I’ve never been disappointed. Beck is attentive, detailed, and ultimately a truly safe person to be around. Beck does these amazing designs that you can see on their Instagram. Beck is always learning and finding new ways to improve. If you’re in the area and you are looking for a quality haircut. This is the shop for you.
