I pursued my lifelong dream of graduating from culinary school. I graduated from The Culinary Institute of Michigan and earned the accreditation of 'Certified Culinarian' by The American Culinary Federation.
During my schooling, I had a sort of epiphany. I love food. I love everything about food. I love cooking and am a people person that enjoys interaction. I wanted to devise a way to bring like-minded culinary people together. I started developing FoodGroupie and I'm A FoodGroupie in March of 2013.
During school I soaked up every bit of culinary education that was provided to me. Since graduating, I've made my way back into the Advertising / Marketing field where I was before school. Luckily for me, I've been able to blend my passion for culinary with my background in marketing.
So since I'm not in the kitchen every day, this site is to act as a 'culinary journal' of such to keep me close to the art I so love. I will share with you books I recommend to read, shows I recommend to watch, and places I recommend you get a taste for.
