Convenient bus service along international drive. Staff are helpful and polite. As with all bus services don't expect door to door service, don't be surprised by some schedule disruption due to traffic and occasional cancelled buses. Otherwise great value.
Easy and convenient to ride the trolley even though the schedule isn't super frequent, but there are also not a lot of riders. It's a cheap alternative for popular destinations instead of driving or getting an Uber. I think my main suggestion and I hope they make this change is to just call the entire route green line and swap out the green/red routes as Branch A and Branch B. It makes no sense why a green trolley service would have a red line when all the vehicles are green!!!! Once they change it to branch a and b, they should also add clear illuminated signage on the front of the bus, or beside the door to denote what branch it is and what direction. So if they said Branch B North, it would be easy for commuters and tourists to quickly identify what the intended route is. It's a nice service, and I hope they make this simple change to really improve the experience.
Service has been brilliant over last few years but this holiday September the service has been appalling. The standard Mears coaches they are now also using just drive straight past you even when they are empty. The app is a waste of time for tracking them as it is completely inaccurate. Really not worth the money this holiday and I’d go as far as to say a refund of advanced bought tickets is due.
Super easy transportation system to use when staying in or around the International Drive area. The tracking feature on the website worked phenomenal well which made it a lot more pleasant to wait, just make sure to put your hand up when the trolley approaches as this is a bus system and will not stop on each and every bus stop. And lastly, I enjoyed the on board music on the bus. The only complaint I would have are the seats which should be more comfortable as the hardwood can get old quickly. Overall, recommend this as a cheap alternative to rides sharing or alternative methods.
This Trolley was in Orlando Florida on International Drive !! We have a day pass to get on . Customers can purchase tickets or purchase when they enter the trolley. We were there for a Family weekend trip The trolley doesn’t have Air Conditioning. The employees are very friendly. The Stops are marked with mile markers. The schedule every 30 minutes going in each direction
The most unreliable bus service I’ve ever used. Even when using there website the bus tracker doesn’t work. I would not recommend this service
Never used i-ride trolley before. Went to catch i-ride North at G6, family of 4 with youngest being 4. On 08/13/23 at 3.45pm went to board the i-ride when driver stated no drinks allowed, so we put all drinks in the bin, as the family boarded with the buggy and my 4yr old, i went to pay with card, but driver stated cash only and ejected us all. As I say this was our first encounter with using public transport and so wasn't aware of cash only payment. The thing that wound me up was the fact it was 35° outside and just been made to throw our waters away and had none for the young one and now had a 2 mile walk back. When I drove buses it was the drivers discretion whether to let customers board or not, but going off the circumstances of not being from the USA as the accent clearly shows and having a young child, using my own initiative would of let the family board and the customers aware of the cash only policy for future reference. Wouldn't mind but the driver didn't even apologise, what happened to modern day manners.
Well it was all going brilliantly until our trip to Aquatica. Dropped off without any problems then when we were ready to go home waiting at the 29 stop and Itrolley never arrived. After an hour we called to be told driver would be notified we were waiting then after another call 30 mins later, told bus couldn't come into Aquatica due to cars, even though an employee bus from Aquatica managed fine. Told to walk down to stop 30 to get bus, on getting on the bus we over heard on the radio that they haven't been sending buses into Aquatica all day, which surely we should have been told when dropped off in the morning. Oh but it gets worse as then the trolley we end up on actually goes into Aquatica so we end up back there 2.5hours after leaving.
We understood that there was a conference going on and wait times would be longer. But what is unacceptable is when you are flagging down the trolly to stop because the driver told us we have to wave our arms at them or they won’t stop they blow right past you after you waited 45 minutes and make you wait another 45 minutes. We missed many sessions waiting for the trolly to come get us and the time gets pushed back on the app. Someone usually always picks us up, but not reliable service if you are trying to get somewhere.
Used to be a very convenient and reliable way to move around I-Drive area. Now it´s unreliable, long and unpredictable intervals making people choose Uber instead. Real-time map is a total disgrace, not optimised for mobile devices, ETA times changing erratically. One extra star for general friendliness and helpfulness of trolley drivers.
