If you love being in nature, you will love this place. Very nice hiking trails and beautiful flowers. I could of stayed all day watching the butterflies flutter around the flowers. There are places to sit, so it would be a great place to bring a picnic. There is a pavilion and a few swings for the kids. Dog-friendliness: This is a dog friendly park Picnic area: Pavillion with some seating
Absolutely love coming here, it's a great place for a picnic or a nice hike, the trails are more extensive than I had originally thought. The pond features fish and frogs, there are swings and a visitor center for the kids to come learn a bit about PA wildlife.
Beautiful park with water, swings, pavilion, butterfly garden, benches, lots of ground to explore. Ample room for parking your car. Great place for fishing, hammocking, exploring, reflecting... Lots of pine trees. No trash. Well taken care of. A few hiking trails :
Beautiful park with fishing, flowers, birds, butterflies, lots of trails, and occasionally you'll spot a deer, or some other type of wildlife. This place is very well maintained and operated by some really nice people who live nearby. Happy to show you around, or give information about the property, take advantage and strike up a conversation if you see someone tending to the flower gardens- give them a hand with their work! It can't be easy doing all of that work alone.
Perfect park for families, exercise , fishing, pic nicking, bird watching. There’s even a swing set and a porta John. Nice walking paths and trails for all ages. There’s a place for the kids to do a craft while you sit and take a break. This is sponsored by the beaver county library system. It’s definitely a place to try and visit.h
What a lovely park! I've lived near here for 30 years and am embarassed to say that today was my first visit. I was investigating the hiking trails for a group event later this month. I found the trails woodland roads, really to be very well maintained and quite wide. Very comfortable for hiking with our year-round tick concerns. The trails are interconnected in a network that allows you to hike a decent distance, even though the park is rather small. I suggest you download the map from the website or snap a pic of the large map in the parking lot before you head into the woods. Most trail intersections are marked with numbered posts that are easily found on the map, even if the trail signage is missing which it is on some posts. You won't get lost - civilization is all around you! They also have a Monarch Butterfly facility, a delightful bench structure for a family or small group chat, a picnic pavilion and a couple ponds. I'm very impressed and look forward to many more visits.
Love this little park. Nice hiking, cute pond, the butterfly program and little kids area. Always fairly quiet. Little hidden gem.
