Local 1730 is Raytown's local shop for members of the International Association of Firefighters.
IAFF Local 1730 is proud to serve the citizens of Raytown, MO by representing 41 hard working employees of both the Raytown Fire Protection District and the City of Raytown Emergency Medical Services. With the help of the International Association of Firefighters, one of the largest labor organizations in the world, Local 1730 works hard to ensure that their members are fairly represented in all matters that concern working hours, wages, benefits, safety, and equality. We are also physically and fiscally active in our community, donating funds, time and effort to local non-profit organizations and community members. We are proud to represent our service driven members and the fine citizens of our community.
