Wow! The Bronzino was one of the best meals, although it didn’t come with the head, lol! I love the whole fish, but the best filet made my day! I tried Brooklyn Sicilian slice. The broccoli rabe was delicious too! The minestrone was fantastic too! That cheesecake? I hope it’s homemade because I would run a marathon to get a slice! Is there anything that is not good here? I don’t think so! Everything’s perfect! Good service too. Thanks!
Great food and excellent service. Sometimes I come for a quick slice other times for the dining experience. My go to dish is the sautéed grilled chicken with broccoli rabe. The regular pizza is solid, I rate it 7/10, good crust and cheese but needs more sauce in my opinion. The best slice is the grandma and margarita I give it 8/10.
Great Pizzeria out at lake success mall. We have been coming here since my son was 2 month old,back in 2020. This was his first restaurant experience. I ordered a buffalo chicken slice. The Pizza had a good taste to. My wife had some of there pasta which she enjoyed. The staff was courteous ,plus the atmosphere was good and clean.The decor was nice as well.I would definitely go back.
A neighborhood staple with a long history. Whether you go for the pizza, or you go for the restaurant, you will not be disappointed! They have more varieties of pizza than any other place I've seen. The Italian dishes in the restaurant area can compete with the fanciest Italian restaurants. And next door they have an Italian market! Give it a try.
Food is excellent. However their policy of up charging a slice of pizza to $6 if you sit in the restaurant section as an appetizer before your dinner. This is absurd, cheap and not customer focused. We were there for a complete dinner with wine etc. We sat in the restaurant section a few feet from the "pizza" seats. No other pizza/restaurant does this. It is cheap/greedy on the part of Iavaronne management. I know you don't care but we won't be back. Too bad enough customers won't be back, then maybe you would change this policy.
Loved the food asits prepared fresh and delicious. However two huge thumbs down are the problems with seating and we understand 50 percent capacity due to pandemic. Hiwever they won't allow reservations for two so they told us yet when we arrive there are several other couples in booths or at tables seated with just two people. We've had unusual long waits to get a seat even after calling ahead and waiting at restuarant and this is at 4.30p.m nice and early before the rush. Like I said the other booths are reserved for later and I've seen two seated after we were told they wouldn't accept only 2 reservations. So I guess it's who you know at Iavarones and that is not cool. So I should lie and say 3 for my table then when I get their say "oh one couldn't make it" as we overheard done to get a reserved prime spot? We went 3 saturdays in a row and each time it was more of a fiasco to get seated that we got so disgusted. The other major thumbs down is this is the first Italian restaurant we've dined at and we've eaten at many that gives you such a small nd meager portion of pasta with your dish! Why? Pasta is relatively cheap. At Vincent's, Umbertos, Casa Mia, La Trattoria etc. you are always given a generous amount of pasta with your veal, chicken etc!!! I mentioned this to our waiter two times two different saturdays we went and still a meager portion served that we were done with the pasta had none left before the veal as we like to eat them both together. At $27 dollars a pop for my entree it would server Iavaarones if they have an equal portion of pasta and sause to match the generous portion of meat they offer. I would love to give 5 star review but I take off a star for each unsatisfactory topic I mention here in this review. Both are easily fixed with reservations for two allowed and larger portions of pasta served with the entress.
Always come for the brocolli rabe with grilled chicken and mozzarella wrap. Fantastic flavors with roasted garlic bits. Never disappoints and highly recommends!Food: 5/5
This slice of pizza, the size of my hand and I don't have big hands was $3.50! Talk about inflation, yikes!

If I had to rate just the food it would be 5 stars. Delicious and served hot. All our meals were great. The service was 3stars. The wait staff are super nice but slow. This place gets packed with people waiting the length of the restaurant. We were almost done with our meal before we were asked if everything was ok and if we need anything. It’s so busy I think the staff is overstretched. Since the food is sooooo yummy I recommend coming in on an off peak time. They have a store next door to bring home food also.
