The food was excellent, and the service was exceptional. My waiter was an older, distinguished man who took very good care of us during dinner. I recommend this establishment for the food and the service.Food: 5/5
A memorable Portuguese culinary experience in every detail. The restaurant has ample parking and the locale is clean and nicely decorated. They have an assorted and well priced menu that offer something special for everyone. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and multilingual Portuguese, Spanish, English. They are particularly well know for their Paella and Sangria. Whether it’s a dinner for two or a group of 12 or more, the service will be equally exceptional.
Excellent service and very good food. We had dinner here on Tuesday evening based on the Google reviews. We had an excellent waiter and it’s a really cool location. They have several dining rooms and even an amusement park of some sort in the back. I thought the food was very good. The steak was cooked correctly and the rice/chips were interesting. My buddy said the short ribs were on point.
Great portions and awesome tasting food. Bring seasoning though. For some eeason they don't use seasoning; salt, pepper, Adobe, etc...Food: 5/5
Great food... Very authentic vibe to the area and locally adopted Portuguese culture... Not the fanciest place in the area but absolutely one of the best! Highly recommend it as an intro to IronboundFood: 5/5
I brought my family to eat here. The price is fair. This place is huge. They have good selections of meat and seafood. With my complex palate it was difficult for me to choose. But, since I was with my family we all had different plates and enjoyed sampling each others dishes. I had the Portuguese steak. Each bite was good savory and tasty. The food was served well. The staff were good. I will definitely come back here to try other dishes.
I had surf & turf there yesterday as usual when not ordering the delicious paella. The salad, entree, wine, dessert, and service were excellent, just like they have always been since the 1980s when my parents used to drive from Staten Island with my brother and me to Newark for special occasion dinners at Iberia's! Bravo! Food: 5/5
First time here and probably the last. The food was bland. I had the twin lobster tails. They were dry as if they had been sitting under a heat lamp for an hour. The rice had no flavor.Food: 3/5
Visited this restaurant during a trip to Newark, and it went to my list of recommended places when traveling. Great food and big portions, friendly staff, wonderful ambiance, great for families or for a date. Really enjoyed our time there.
EXCELLENT experience! It was super crowded which is a sign it's pretty popular but definitely concerning during pandemic. Our surver was so sweet and attentive. The food was fresh and really tasty. Portions were huge as we got the Seafood for two. I recommend splitting the seafood for 2 I would certainly go back because of the service and food. Nice spot!
