Iberia Restaurant, the Bay Area’s longest-running and best-known Spanish eatery, features delicious Tapas and Paella and serves lunch and dinner. Born in Seville, and raised in Barcelona, Chef/owner Jose Luis Relinque moved to California at the age of twenty. By the age of thirty, the charismatic, self-taught young chef opened his first restaurant which was in Portola Valley and became well known for his authentic Spanish dishes and cooking classes. One of his most famous dishes is Paella, which earned him the 2015 Paella Master Award for his Paella de Mariscos, out of ten competing chefs in a competition which included Gary Danko as a judge.
