Great red wine and the best pizza in town, cheaper too, all fresh ingredients. The food is so good. It has always been my favorite restaurant but is better under the new management. The potato salad is good and my favorites are the chicken nachos with the Iguana salad with red wine dressing. Sandwiches are the best too.
The remodel looks great! It's bright and cheerful. The new menu looks tasty, and although the prices went up a bit, the food was spectacular! Try the potato salad, they now serve it in a slightly larger portion! Lastly, with better hours, this should be the cafe of choice for college students!
Awesome Tahlequah mainstay, recently modified. As it used to be just a coffee and sandwich shoppe, under the new ownership, it has transformed into an AWESOME restaurant, featuring breakfast, lunch and dinners menus, and offering incredible coffee and mixed drinks, crafted by some of the best baristas in the state. It has an incredible vibe and the staff goes above and beyond to serve their customers. Highly recommend this place for anyone in town, or just passing through! You won't regret it!
Great place for breakfast or lunch, I'm sure dinner is amazing with the live music. Great atmosphere. I'm from out of town otherwise I think I'd be here everyday. Please put one of these in Joplin, mo!
Spent a morning in Talequah working remotely from the loft area of Iguana Cafe. Service was fantastic, coffee and food were good. Internet performance was better than I expected. Quiet enough to take a few phone calls and spacious enough to spread out with my laptop and papers. I would recommend it as a functional place to get some online business done while visiting the area.
I am here Every day, and that is not because I have nothing else to do with life. I come here because of the atmosphere, people, top notch coffee, food, music, and alcoholic beverages. I strongly recommend the veggie burger and the tacos. The kitchen is excellent at being creative, so always check up on the special. The coffee is inspired, roasted, and brewed by the best. You can grab a cup from the airpot, or request a latte which will come with the most beautiful artwork. There is live music every week, two patios, and even a place to get some of that weekly work done. Check into their Facebook for updates on music, because on top of jazz tuesdays, they try to bring in artists from all around.
The iguna used to be this wonderful, quirky little deli. You self ordered and they had the most wonderful sandwiches, coffee, flavored tea and beer and wine. The place changed hands, they went to table service which the resturant was not configured for changed the menu and jacked the prices up. The service was HORRIBLE, difficult to get waited on and orders were often wrong, silverware and napkins so not brought out with food, etc. Really sad because it had been such an iconic place next to the university in downtown Tahleuah
Very cute hippy,chic place!! The coffee was amazing as well as the egg and cheese wrap!!And not just a plain tortilla wrap.Its made of cheese as well! Very nice customer service as well.Only complaint was my egg wrap took 20mins to make.Ill give them one more try.I was here Friday Sept 16th.
Everyone at the Iguana Cafe is increadably nice, and provice great service. The food is excellent, and the coffee is average. The only negative is that the service tends to be a bit slow, but like I said in the title it's very much worth the wait!
My favorite place in Tahlequah. The best sandwiches, coffee, local art, and local folks. I eat the tacos at least once a week. Live music on the weekends!
