IHOP

May 13, 2023 my family and I tried this IHOP location after about 2 years of avoiding it like the plauge. To our surprise it was awsome, food was great, and service was excellent. So imagine our surprise tonight. Upon entering the restaurant we felt as though we had walked into the gates of hell. It was easily 75 degrees. How do I know this? Well it was 74 outside and comfortable in comparison. Rounding up Satan's furnace the lingering and overwhelming sewer smell added to the ambiance. We were seated next a local resident the spider by the window. Our waitress took our drink order, and promptly returned with drinks, and took our order. I know your asking why we didn't leave at this point. Honestly it was getting so bad, like a train wreck we couldn't look away at what was to come. The entertainment for the evening was a great show off what I assume was the chef yelling and generally being disruptive from the kitchen. It was so bad that a waitress actually yelled back at him "LESS TAKING MORE COOKING!" I would like to say the the four different tables with ten customers in total were totally overwhelming the kitchen staff, but perhaps the chef was suffering from heat stroke. After 40 minutes my meal arrived. The classic pancake combo 2 eggs, 2 pancakes, and what I believe to be two cremated sausages. While both my wife and son had to wait another 5 to 10 minutes for there eggs benidict to arrive. While none of us claim to be Gordon Ramsey, and fully understand that one must obviously lower their expectations at IHOP. I'd say that 1 star was generous because the app wouldn't let me rate it any lower. Sitting on the surface of the sun one can help but need to remain hydrated. Unfortunately our waitress was not concerned with the amount of electrolytes we were loosing due to sweat. Having gutted through this experience we decided it was time to leave. Unfortunately our check was being held hostage by our waitress, who seemed quite annoyed that we were bothering her with her job. Now to be clear we didn't complain at any time with this "fine dining establishment ". My family and I would rather consume dead road animals covered in ricotta cheese and call it Italian than ever eat in what we now believe to Dante's 6th ring of hell again.

6/23 - The food was good but for some reason they always over cook the onion rings. The unlimited breakfast was delicious and the Steak was surprisingly good. The service was ok, with us being 1 out of 3 ppl in the restaurant and the restaurant not being crowded at All the waitre could have made sure the drinks were filled without me having to ask for a refill. It could have been a little clearer, the coffee containers on the table need to be soaked and please don't go to the restrooms

Good luck getting served. Food was brought to us cold and wrong. After waiting an hour for it we took it to go and reheated it at home. You could really tell they do not like their jobs because the server was super rude and still expected a tip for giving us the wrong order and the food cold and making us wait an hour to place the order and almost another hour to get the food and it was not during a busy time there was only one other person in their with us. Definitely will not be going back.

It's just a matter of time before this place closes and for good reason. Mostly staff incompetency. My family and I used to order regularly from here. If you buy food here, expect there to always be a problem with something. We haven't returned in months because of this. Save your money. Corporations like this aren't healthy anyway.

Steak wasn't cook correctly and felt like I was chewing a leather boot, french toast is missing it's bananas, took overall about 4 hours to get our food despite it being deader than a cemetery. Couldn't get refills, hotter than hades, women's bathroom stunk to Jesus. Didn't get any napkins.Food: 1/5

Donot ever apply for a job here,as a single mother, and one who actually wantsand needs to work,I was scheduled an onsite interview on August 9th, never was even talked to except for the guyat the register, told him I was there for an interview he went back n told whoever so a guy comes up front I tell him im there for my interview, he said he was told to get my name n phone number that I would get a call back yesterday on Tuesday, guess what no call. I call today still in need of a joband get nothing but poor excuses again none the less I probably shouldn't get into the racial slurs I overheard when I went in on the 9th that I overlooked, also anytime I've eaten their with my children the food took forever the service sucked and very over priced the only thing that wasn't bad were the eggs but it's kinda hard to mess eggs up.. over all just no......if they didn't want but certain white folks working their that should've been in the application.... this bothered me severely because all I want to do is work and take care of my children

We arrived and there were not a lot of patrons so we figured we would be in and out in a decent time. We waited over an hour for our food. If we had not asked, we would not have been informed that they were short-staffed in the kitchen. The manager did give us a complimentary appetizer for our long wait. Our food was hot and good when it arrived but because we were all on our way out of town, we couldn't fully enjoy it so we had to take it to go. Communication could have been better.

The new French toast use to be so good. Now it’s just disgusting. Bland. No flavor. No powdered sugar as listed in the description. They are definitely no longer cooking French toast the way it’s suppose to be cooked. Disappointing.Food: 1/5

Very nice and clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming, especially our waitress. Our food was good even though it was a little late. We enjoyed ourselves and thanked our waitress for serving us.Food: 5/5
