It's the stereotypical American breakfast, so I had to try it portions were huge compared to the UK. I had a combination of eggs, bacon, sausage, french toast and some huge pancakes. Honestly, I was broken by about half way though but the food was delicious and the coffee was plentiful. Definitely worth trying but maybe try a smaller portion if you need to function afterwards!
Decent iHop in Costa Mesa. Service and food are okay. I ordered the pesto veggie benedict and only one egg was runny. We also did not get our meals at the same time. Other than that, everything was good. I recommend coming on a weekday since it is usually not as busy.
Still a good place to eat. Last time we were here was about 6 years ago. We moved a bit far, but today we were around Costa Mesa and decided to grab some breakfast before our flight. It was around 9:30 am on a Tuesday. The restaurant was not crowded, so no wait times to get seated. Our waitress was Lili, she was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. We spilled a glass of water all over the table, the busser came quickly a cleaned everything up while we were switching tables. The food was really good, as usual. I have never had a complaint here about the food. My plate was really filling, and the food taste good, and my bacon was crispy! It was a good experience overall.
May 9, it was super busy in this location, we were told to order something to drink because the kitchen was extremely busy and food was going to take long, we didn't mind except my son was starving so they offered to bring some eggs while we waited and waited and waited and the eggs never came, then another waitress came after 10 l o ng minutes and ask, do you want anything to drink? seriously wow we are ready to order. OK I'll call someone to take your order! What?? Anyways I don't complain the girl that help us was very nice and even though we waited for long time I understand why it was crazy busy, because the mother's day weekend usually is not that crazy. Love those new protein pancakes.
Miguel F. Was our waiter at IHOP in Costa Mesa. From the moment we were seated he demonstrated excellent customer service to us and the those around us. He made you feel welcome and was very attentive to the needs of his customers. Miguel F. Is very valuable employee and is definitely manger material. Thanks for giving great customer service. Keep up the great job! Parking: Was able to find parking.
I'm upgrading to 4* because my last visit was nice. Plus, I can keep my diet. They have multiple tasty options. Everyone's prices have gone up, so don't be surprised. Still, I've paid more elsewhere. Vegetarian options: They have a few veggie items on the menu. Parking: Depending on what time you arrive, you can always find parking. Kid-friendliness: All kinds of kids. It doesn't get too crazy noisy but sometimes gets loud. Plus, people talking over the kid noise. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes
It was all good. Except the waitress shift was ending and very polite asked us to pay even before we finished eating. Other than that it was okFood: 4/5
Amazing service, I’m not much of a breakfast person so IHOP is not my favorite restaurant, but I would definitely come back to this one. My server, Letty, was very attentive and quick with requests, and never seemed to lose her upbeat attitude.Food: 4/5
Super Late Lunch @ 5 PM. For two days I have been craving the Strawberry and Banana French Toast with 2 Scrambled Eggs, 2 Sausages, 2 Slices of Ham and Hash Browns with 1 Apple Juice and 1 Orange Juice $26.35 Total + $5.00 Tip = $31.35. Anyways, I'm working so it all gets reimbursed. "Free Super Late Lunch @ 5 PM!" Free Lunch, is the best lunch!
The service was so slow that it took us over half an hour to get our food. Plus, I had to ask twice for a glass of water. Yes, they were busy, but the server acted like she just wanted to get rid of us. The elderly gentleman that I was with is vision impaired, and the server wasn't willing to help him to show where to sign.Food: 5/5
