Seriously! A BBQ Buffet on Friday and Saturday! Here's my take. Pickle bar included a myriad of pickles,olives, peppers, and get this....spicy pineapple! The spicy pineapple is unreal! The ranch at this joint is amazing as well. Makes for a great salad! The BBQ was solid. The garlic parm bbq drumsticks was my favorite. The ribs were a plus as well. For the sides the green beans were my favorite as well as the cole slaw. While your at it don't forget desert. They have delicious banana pudding! Definitely a treat in Okmulgee, OK!
Excellent! Wasn't quite sure what to expect since I had never heard of it and just "happened upon" it. Reminds me a bit of Rib Crib.... but better! Ribs just fall off the bone. My only negative is the BBQ sauce was a little too acidic for my taste. But it was still good. Staff very friendly and attentive. Decor is rustic and a bit on the "wild" side. Country and charming. We will be coming back.
The smoked salmon is awesome, every thing I've got here is good!
Dwight and Justin have always had excellent food and the service can't be matched. The care about the customer. I love this one just like I loved the other restaurants they had. I must say though, I really like the smoked meats they serve. I also like that they serve no fried foods here. They still have the tomato relish that is so good. I also really like the pickle bar. The loaded spud is my favorite!
In all my years of eating barbecue I had the best ribs ever today at Ikes. The sides were also perfect. Great atmosphere. Extremely helpful wait staff. The most extensive free pickle bar I’ve ever seen.
It's a barbecue buffet, do you need more? The selections here are so dang good. I always go in with assumption I'll be stacking my plates high with mouth watering food and yet after a plate full of ribs and some scallop potatoes.... It's nap time. And hour later I finally get just enough room for that dessert I couldn't get too They have MANY menu items as well aside from the buffet... I may need to consider those options next time
Food wasn't that good. Ribs are dry and the sides taste like cheap canned veggies. For the quality the buffet and drink should have been about $10 max instead of the $20 I paid. Unique atmosphere with friendly people.
Super friendly owners and staff. Buffet was wonderful. The rib meat practically melted in your mouth and the baked beans were yo die for. Don't forget to try the chili also. If you order off the menu, you won't go hungry!!
Tonight was our first time at IFPS. We will definitely be returning. Summer salad was so fresh and the ribs were excellent. Love the pickle bar too. Selby Minner and Oklahoma Dan's band played the blues while we ate.
It's too bad this place went downhill after they moved. They brought me the wrong meal. That was okay, I understand getting orders mixed up. What was not okay is that I explained to the waitress that I had already eaten from that plate when she brought my actual meal to the table. She offered to trade the plates of food out, which was great and I could have what I actually ordered. BUT... Then she said, "it's probably someone else's in your group." and tried to RE-serve that same plate to the others in our group WITH my fork still in the chicken. Gross!
