Ike Carpenter opened his fix it shop in 1960 on Main Street in Prairieville. In 1975, business was booming, so Ike built a new shop on Old Jefferson Highway where it still stands today. Ike's Fix it Shop specializes in repairing lawn mowers, pressure washers, generators, edgers, and other equipment. In 2009, Ike passed down the shop to his son John, so it remains a family business and continues to grow each day.
Ever since his new ownership, John has worked hard to expand Ike's Fix it Shop into more that just your average fix it shop. Normally known for expert work on fixing lawn mowers and other lawn equipment, John has expanded business to include selling a wide variety of Dixon Lawn Mowers which has now changed it's name to Jonsered. We also sell eXmark ZTR's and Walk behinds, Redmax Hand Held Lawn Equipment, Oregon Battery Operated Hand Held Lawn Equipment, Mantis Tillers, Briggs & Stratton Pressure Washers, Ybravo Commercial Walk behinds. We also have used equipment for sale.
