I was extremely surprised with the great customer service, soon as you walk in it feels like you’re home, John the owner very pleasant man professional kind hearted, do you feel like you’ve known him 20 years, Jayda our waitress was fantastic, recommendations were spot on service was great, and she’s very pleasant, Everyone I came with the contact here was very friendly, The biggest surprise was how delicious and flavorful the food here is, it’s not just your typical Pizzeria they have a dining area and the food is just as good as Umberto’s, This place is very well run and it shows in how they treat their customers, I felt like a VIP , I will definitely be back, if you happen to be in the area stop by the food is delicious, grilled chicken bruchetta was the best I ever had

Very nice place! Food is excellent, service is amazing, and the bread is to die for. Portions for appetizers—and in general—are pretty large and almost everything is one size, so come very hungry and bring some extra money. The place is also very clean, the staff is welcoming, and everyone else seems to also enjoy the food.  I came back about 4 times now this past month and haven't been disappointed! The location isn't the best—it's in Hempstead which generally isn't the best of neighborhoods—and there's little to no parking. There are also not too many tables; I have yet to go there on a busy night but I'm sure there'll be a wait if you go on one. Overall, I highly recommend Il Cantone Cafe if you're in the area and are looking for some really good Italian food!!

Wow what a delight! I had the penne siciliana today with a glass of Pinot Grigio. Great portions - I even had a touch for lunch tomorrow. Must try!

Food is good. The customer service is PATHETIC! I’ve ordered multiple times. Constantly cannot give me the correct price always calling me back telling me it’s more $$ then they originally told me when I ordered. Delivery waits are disgustingly long. I’ve waited over an hour and a half twice and up to two hours another time. The women on the phone shouldn’t be in customer service she’s nasty and has not a clue what she’s doing. The food is good so credit to the chef working there but overpriced. I ordered an entree and calzone and it was north of $50!!  They need to do better. For 50$ I can go to king Umbertos or prince Umbertos and be treated respectfully and eat just as good quality food.

Some of the best soups in the area, made fresh per order and can't be beat. Although I'm card restricted, pizza look fine and service is very good and people here are friendly.Food: 5/5

Great pasta and great eggplant rollitini.  Reasonably priced, good service, incredible desserts!  Authentic Italian!  Only negative is short parking.

This restaurant has gotten new owners. Apparently it’s the same cook and food no problems however they got new owners and never got a new menu, their online menu has the old owners prices, I ordered food and the new price was literally double what their menu says, way too expensive and then I called back and said wait a minute how is this the price and they went on to tell me all chicken dishes are 25 and the salad I ordered was 20, I should have cancelled the order because this is absolutely ridiculous they are money hungry and just lost a customer no thanks

Excellent local place for both simple pizza to nice Italian dishes like Veal Parm and Chicken Cutlet Bruschetta. Apps such as Baked Clams and Fried Calamari excellent as well.Food: 5/5

The ambience is comfortable and romantic. Portions are large and everything is delicious. The music is relaxing and the waiters are always smiling. You are not rushed to leave. The prices are spectacular and very reasonable.

Il Cantone Cafe is an excellent cafe! I was invited there by the owner Wilson Pinilla coincidentally the owner of Pinilla studiossee my review about Pinilla studios. The restaurant is very clean. The food is very fresh.  The prices are very reasonable and the food is very good! Stop on by if you are in the Floral Park area and enjoy an excellent night out. Hope to see you there!
