Illinois State Rifle Range

If you like the shooting sports, then you will like ISRA. They have steel challenge matches, three gun matches, and long distance rifle range 300 yard. They are also membership applications. I recommend checking it out.

Had a group event here, the RSOs were great, knowledgeable, and safe. Used the picnic pavillion, it's got lighting and fully plumbed bathroom nearby. We had a great time on rifle and pistol ranges.

Was a member giving donations of $500 a year for 20 years until they sent out happy holidays emails and cards instead of Merry Christmas. A gun right organization trying to be politically correct, incredible. All my money goes to the NRA, and 2nd Amendment Foundation.

I've been a member for 15 years. Last few years have seen the RSO's become like the SS. Often there are more RSO's on the property than shooters. The give you a hard time about every thing, unless of course you are their friend then they are flexible. Feel like they need to justify their existence. New ranges are nice but half are closed or reserved, but rarely in use. How about you make the facilities available to the paying members when not needed for training. Having ranges sit idle for many hours is not good.

Awesome place to take the family and learn gun safety and practice their have to have conceal and carry classes excellent staff very courteous very safety-minded many different types of ranges from black powder to ball to handguns and even heated for the fall 100 + 300 yard rifle range and I hear talk of a 600-yard range highly recommended

I have attended two open houses here. The events were well organized and the range is quite impressive. I had a good time and look forward to visiting again.
