Immanuel Christian School is part of the ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church in Morgan City, LA founded in 1981. It was born of the dream of Pastor Joe Kite and other church members who believed developing Christian leaders for the future of our nation was a worthwhile endeavor. From its origin, the goal has been to provide a "quality education in a Christian context."
Academically, Immanuel Christian School offers curriculum from Bob Jones University Press and ABeka books. Along with the curriculum, ICS offers enrichment opportunities which are art, music, P.E., and computer literacy from grade K-2 through 5th.
