Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church is located in the panhandle of Nebraska, in the
town of Alliance, population about 10,000. Immanuel is a member of the Lutheran
Church Missouri Synod (LCMS) and serves a congregation of 700+ from
Alliance and the surrounding area. As an LCMS congregation, members of
Immanuel view the Bible as the true and inspired Word of God, and believe
that salvation is through grace alone, not by works.
Immanuel offers a number of Bible studies for adults, Sunday school,
midweek classes and youth groups for the youth and children, a quilter's guild,
choir and much more, enabling everyone to grow in the word and proclaim the
love of Christ.
Immanuel also sponsors the Sunday radio program "The Lutheran Hour"
on KCOW 1400 at 9:00 AM and KCSR 620 at 8:00 AM.
