Both of my kids have been in the Tots program with Mr. Justin for the past year and are better because of it! They are genuinely excited to go to class each week and have the best time learning new skills. I have been so impressed by how much they have grown in a short amount of time and how cared for they feel by their instructor. The studio is the most welcoming environment, and I’m grateful for the balance of discipline, hard work, patience, and fun that is demonstrated in each class. The instruction is high quality and I’ve never seen a kids program provide so many opportunities for the kids to take turns leading their own peers as well. I cannot say enough great things about Impact America - we are so thankful we found it!
I took my son here for a birthday party. He was so excited to see his friends, and all of the kids had extremely high energy because of the nature of the event. The instructor led different games and showed the children different techniques, but he was extremely impatient. He put my son in “time out” three times for talking and not paying attention. At one point during the party, my son began to cry because he was put in timeout, and I was thiiiis close to taking my son and leaving. It was a party for a five-year-old, and he acted like it was a typical class. My son goes to another martial arts studio, and I can’t imagine the lead professor zapping the fun out of a birthday celebration. I needed him to read the room and adjust his approach based on the audience. Two stars were earned for the cool party setup.
My daughter is in their Tot program through her school and she's had such an amazing experience! She loves showing us her moves and showing her Daddy her stripes. Thank you for teaching my daughter responsibility and respect!
Impact America has be great for our 3rd grader's confidence and resilience. This is a great family run business and they make you feel like family! The owner and his two adult sons truly care for each member.
My son and I have been training here for 5 years. It’s family owned, all instructors are great and care a lot about their students.
Made such a difference in my kids lives! Both of my children are better people and became great fighters thanks to Scott, Justin, Robin, Cameron, and everyone else who worked with my kids. Scott is fair, fun, and holds his students to the highest standard. My husband and I feel so fortunate that our family got to be a part of this organization. Do yourself or your kids a favor and sign up with Impact!
Hidden gem. My daughter has been attending here a couple of months and asks all the time 'when is my next karate class'. The instructors are fun, interactive, firm and consistent with the kids. She is learning the basics of martial arts, but they also learn to wait, listen, follow multiple instructions and also the consequences of what happens when things don't go right. Such as if they don't listen they will miss out on a game at the end of class, they need to learn the patterns if not they will not earn their stripes and not get a belt. But the rewards are there, if they perform their learned skill they get a stripe and belt at the end when they have testing days. Each class is different and the instructors make it interesting and have the ability to explain things to them so they can learn the moves.
My Kids are going to Impact America for 6 months and all of a sudden there is an increase in the Price and we immediately sent an email that we are not coming after new change in the fees. There is no reply to that email and then there was a charge of 300 dollars after 15 days when we asked the manager He said there is one month cancellation notice which honestly never know about 1 month notice before, I checked with other kids parents and they are also surprised by this. If there is an increase in the fees then it should be known to us before 1 month so that we can cancel before 1 month. I felt cheated and this is totally unfair. Am just writing this review, at least future parents will know about this before you give the credit card to Impact America or charged the fees for the service they didn't provide. I can pay if they provide the service but not when they don't.
Great instructors + variety of classes + lots of activities Kids enjoy attending class, and have learned solid skills. The instructors are knowledgeable, firm & playful. Other perks: plenty of parking unlike other strip mall areas that fill up quickly, you will always get great parking, and the facility is clean. They offer summer and spring camps and prices are reasonable.
My daughter has trained here the last couple years and loves the program most days!! she will be testing for second degree black belt soon and has learned more than just martial arts, The life lessons taught here are invaluable. This was her ideal sport, and our second martial arts location. I'm so glad we switched. Classes from tots to adults.
