Imperial Garden is a solid choice for any struggling vegetarian in Chattanooga. They have a pretty decent vegetarian menu, and a couple appetizer’s/side dishes that are safe for a veggie. I recommend the spicy honey artificial chicken. One thing I will say is most of the vegetarian dishes taste pretty similar, so it’s not worth getting multiple dishes to try. The general Tso’s and the Honey chicken are almost identical in taste. The veggie egg rolls are really good.
Today my coworkers and I decided to order Chinese for lunch and we were extremely excited because this is something we had never purchased as a group. To say that we were disappointed is an understatement. We came inside and no one greeted us. The only good thing about the food was the soup. The sesame chicken was extremely dark and dry and the orange chicken was not even prepared in the orange sauce. The orange sauce was given to us in a separate container and its consistency was like applesauce. The staff was nice but the food was the worst Chinese food that I have ever had. Needless to say we won't be trying this again. We literally took a bite of our food and threw it all away. If you like good food you won't find it here.
This place has gone to hell. The food is way horrible. House special lol mein is all noodles, and very little protein. The orange beef is just soy sugar juice, and what tastes like beef jerky. I would never suggest you go there, and I will never go again. Sorry for the poor review, but, I have to be honest.
All of my food tasted like the cook was having a love affair with sugar. The hot and sour soup was sweet. The Hunan Shrimp was sweet and I felt like the shrimp tasted a little "off". My husband had the vegetable combo said should have just ordered Sweet and Sour Chicken. I don't understand why a Chinese restaurant doesn't use Chinese Five Spice in their dishes. All in all I use pass on this place. But the server was super nice!
From the look of this restaurant, it might have been a very good place to dine when they first opened. There has to be a changed in ownership at this restaurant. I ordered a Hot & Sour and it was SWEET; this soup should NEVER be SWEET. My entree was ok, not great. My server was attentive and very polite, thank you. As I almost done, something fell down from the window, a small . It upside down and tried to flip back and did. I placed a black pepper shaker over it and paid my bill. I left my server 20% tip but pretty sure it will be my last time here, sorry!!!!
Food was fantastic, bathroom was clean and in working order. Bench seat on both sides of booth needed replaced years ago, there are springs and hard spots that you can feel. Good portions for the price. A little language barrier between the server and I but it was resolved by pointing at the menu.
Got ubereats from here twice and I can confirm I have gotten sick from the food both times. At first I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but after sitting here feeling like I'm about to taste the food again and unable to stand without almost falling down I can confirm this was the culprit. Food is good just be advised that it's a gamble on wether or not you will get sick.
me, my dad, and sister went there today for lunch and we ordered egg rolls but the waitress didn’t ask what type we wanted. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and when the food cane to us there were 2 whole cherries in the chicken and me and my sister are having stomach aches and nausea from the food. Never going back there
The food is fresh and flavorful! Oif favorites are sizzling rice soup with chicken and Happy Family Combo!
This isn’t a very good looking place. My friend really likes the vegetarian meat here and that’s why we came, but I can’t see myself coming back. The food was alright, and the prices weren’t that’s cheap. Overall I didn’t enjoy the experience.
