My large group decided to go bowling on a Saturday evening and Imperial Lanes was a good choice minus the shoe situation. I didn’t like the fact that they make you give them one of your shoes as collateral for the bowling shoes. I’ve never experienced that! When we picked our shoes up, they had thrown them all into a bin…so your shoe will be smashed and dirtied by other shoes. This place is huge and has its own bar and food area. The pricing was reasonable IF you bowl for 2 hours. The 1 hour rate was not much different from 2 hours. The cosmic or late night bowling was fun but they should step their music game up a bit. Many of the songs were boring. I’d like to return, but would probably bring a bag to put my shoe in before giving it to them.
Me and my family likes to play bowling at this place. You can order food and drinks inside. We usually like to get pizza, soda and beer. It's a fun place for family and friends to play together. Different lights during the day and night. If you like the neon glowing lights then play at night. Plenty of lanes for everyone. We got a big discount while celebrating Father's Day here. It was awesome! We will be coming back to this place. Always have fun!
First time here.. There was a line before entering. This was Friday night. Went out with some co-workers to bowl. The open bowl starts at @9:45pm. You have to get wristbands to be able to purchase alcoholic drinks. 2 hours - $20 bowling shoes are included. 1 hour - $15
Had difficulty twice on our lanes and had to ASK about getting more time added since so much was lost waiting on the lane to be corrected... which left me a tad perturbed... Originally paid for an hour, but played only about 40 minutes before everything in the lane started acting up... BUT... They have Sorrentos sooo...
IMHO probably one of the best alleys in the area. Very clean. Spacious. Modern scoring. Well kept lanes. Didn't try food or bar but it all looked good from what came out. You'll enjoy your evening at Imperial and the overall experience.
This was my hometown bowling alley growing up. When I returned 20 years later, I was surprised to find a well-maintained facility, updated bar and lounge, friendly folks and fun bowling! Since it's so big you can usually get in for open bowling even at peak times. Can't say enough good things about Imperial Lanes.
I've been going here since I was a child, it's always a welcoming and fun atmosphere! Staff are amazing at what they do and food is stellar. Highly recommend for all occasions!
The bowling is fine just don't get the Sorrentos there if you're expecting the "Sorrentos downtown Mount Clemens" taste...nothing is alike...the sauce, the cheese, nor the crust. We went there bc the other one was closed earlier...never again...$30?large deep dish and bread sticks? I got all that for $25 in Mt Clemens and it was 10x better...just a warning!
My daughter took 1st place in the LCN Ladies Singles for JV. She bowls for Lake Shore High School. It was a very long day but staff was friendly and the place was clean. They sure do know how to hold events at this establishment! We will be back.... had a ton of fun
Nice 80-lane center. There is plenty of room for you and your friends and all your bowling equipment. I was here for a bowling tournament and we were well taken care of by the staff and everything ran nice and smooth.
