Dr. James Crowther was born and raised in the New Haven, Connecticut area. He received his undergraduate B.S. in Biology from Bethany College in West Virginia in 1978. Following graduation, Dr. Crowther attended the Univ. of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and was awarded his D.M.D. degree in 1982. Following a short practice period in the Pittsburgh area, Dr. Crowther moved his practice to Central Florida and opened in Orange City in 1984.
Having a unique interest in the fledgling Dental Implant field in 1984, Dr. Crowther entered the first formal post doctorate program in Dental Implantology offered by the Medical College Of Georgia and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in 1986. Following extensive didactic and clinical studies in the field of Dental Implants, Dr. Crowther earned his credentials in numerous prominent Implant Societies. His credentials include:
