So glad I found this place. The instructors are great. They have several helicopters. Heather is very professional, honest, fair and she knows her stuff. The building itself is clean neat and has a very unique location.
My husband and I had a wonderful helicopter flight over West Point, down the Hudson River, the Palisades, and around NYC. Heather is an amazing pilot; smart, fun and calm. I highly recommend her.
Will was my pilot, very informative about the area. He took time to explain the helicopter and safety procedure's. Had great weather for the tour, would recommend.

Very professional team of CFII`s, Independent operates 9 helicopters and keeps them in perfect shape for safe education. Ground education can be accomplished with an in house designed ground school, which I found very helpful during exam preparation. The kind of preparing students for the written FAA PPL test led to a 97% result on my side, thanks to the independent team competence.
