The park itself was fine, didn't get to use the pool but the laundry facilities were nice and it was nice that you can walk from the park into downtown harmony. The only reason I took off stars was for a personal reason. When I first arrived, one of the gentleman that i believe works for the park came and helped me hook up my water, which I appreciated, he said he had a heated hose and I could just pay him for. Perfect! No issues there. However, when he came to hook it up, it had a huge leak and the hose was basically not useful and would just be thrown away. He said he could just pick up a new one for me and I could pay him but stuff happened and he never got it and when he asked me about it, I just told him I was filling my fresh tank and using that. There was even a night I forgot to turn it off and the lady next door reported it because it was leaking so bad. Now, I had 2 regular hoses I could have used to fill my fresh tank but I continued to use the heated one like a regular hose because I couldn't get it unconnected and he said it was not usable anyway... jump ahead a month or so and I ask him to help me with my propane tanks that are leaking, he agrees and I venmo him the money for the repairs thinking he fixed and filled both tanks. After I realize he only filled one tank I was confused as to why it had ended up being $180 only to find out it was because he charged me the $100 for the hose. I was a little disappointed to basically pay full price for a heated hose I have since ordered one that works that was trash and had I known this was the case I would have insisted we take it off and I could have used my own and given him the broken one back. Especially since I was unable to even use the heated feature of the hose because the leak was tripping my breaker anytime it was plugged in for that purpose. All in all, minus this minor issue, I was appreciative of the help and perhaps it was a misunderstanding but I was out $100 and the hose was left at the campground in the trash can. Walkability: You can walk to downtown Harmony, which is nice.
My husband and had the pleasure of staying at Indian Brave last weekend and cannot speak more highly of our experience! From the moment we arrived, Cora An owner along with her husband James went above and beyond to ensure that we felt welcomed and were able to comfortably get settled in. Their kindness clearly was reflected onto our neighboring campers, as we met so many wonderful people who also were enjoying a fantastic time! The sites were very well maintained; the facilities immaculate; the pool positively refreshing and the location so close to the quaint town of Harmony which is easily accessible via a scenic walking bridge within the campground I would absolutely 100% recommend adding this campground to your "must-stay" list and am excited to plan our next trip. Safety: Very family oriented. Owners and neighboring campers were good and clearly honest people. Walkability: Facilities, pool and walking bridge to Harmony, PA very close to sites.
This is a campground! They have rv, tents, and 2 camping cabins. They have a nature trail, game room, laundry services, pool, showers, and a little convenience store at their office. It offers drinks, some foods, ice, camping items as well as souvenirs. And firewood reasonably priced!!! It's clean and well kept up. I love the walking bridge over the creek that leads to Harmony! I've noticed a lot of people fishing that creek, whether on the banks or on the bridge. The prices are very reasonable. At the weekend they have some activities as well. We rent the camping cabin. Very well maintained. Picnic table, fire pit, charcoal grill and covered porch are outside amenities. Inside a set of double bunks, table, 2 chairs and electricity. Bring your own linens and a fan! And bathroom with private shower within eyesight and right across the street. Everything is very clean! One of the best things I can say about this place is about the owners and employees!!! Oftentimes, when going to a campground to its hard to find anyone to assist you. Here, they have a number that they answer and a ring doorbell. They are quick to answer questions, help you with your needs, and let you know what's going on around Zelienople, Harmony, and surrounding areas as well as at their campground. They offer many different services and options to make your stay memorable! There are lots of places to visit nearby, too! Nearby activities: Zelienople and Harmony are close by. If you're looking for antiques, food, libations, museums, nature trails shopping you'll find it here! Safety: They have a 5 mph in campground. Quiet time hours. Complete list of rules given to you when you check in and posted at campsites.
This would have been the perfect campground. Nice pool, location, etc.. but instead of having the campers face the BACK of your neighbors camper, they have them all facing the FRONT, and they are close. Some campers awnings were even touching their neighbors! NO PRIVACY. This is the only campground that does that, so for that reason, we will not be back. Sad, because we really wanted to camp there.
May 4, 2023 - We were on our way to this campground and our camper trailer lost its brakes. We had to turn around and come back home. We called Indian Brave Campground to cancel our reservations. Would not give us back any of our money. Cancellation policy. We understand a cancellation fee but not the whole thing! We will never again plan on going to this campground. They made money off us when it was not even our fault. No understanding whatsoever.
Very nice family friendly campground. The owners do a great job at at doing the little things to make your experience special. For example, their general store ran out of s’mores materials so they went to the local grocery, bought supplies, and went around campsite to campsite making sure families had treat to make their evening sweet. Well maintained and very cool events going on during the holiday weekend. Nice pool. Small camp spots for overnighters and not a ton of grass, but overall it was a very nice experience.
Great place to stay on memorial weekend. They were very accommodating with our camping trip that we planned with another family. Lots of shops and local businesses within walking distance. Everyone was very friendly.
May 4, 2023 Cancellation policy stinks! We had a camper breakdown on our trip and had to cancel our reservation. The campground took our entire fee as part of their 'cancellation policy', in spite of the fact we called them to cancel so they could book in other customers. So many campgrounds charge only a small cancellation fee, not the entire amount! They did nothing at all - not even any understanding - will never use this campground again!
Very nice campground. They have plenty to offer. Nice pull thrus with full hookup, but they are very tight to your neighbor. But overall I would go back.Location: 5/5
Unfriendly attitude from the staff from the call to making reservations to all contact while at the park. Don’t seem to like their jobs! Also, the manufacturing company starts using their forklifts in reverse at 5:45 in the morning…..beep, beep, beep!
