As of 3/18/22, part of the trail is closed along with the splash pad and pool. The playground needs some work, especially the wooden parts. It can be a little rough but you can get down to the creek near by. The ponds don’t seem to have any decent fish, lots of moss. The camping spots are decent. There’s also a game around in a little convenience store in case you forget anything. The managers and workers are extremely helpful and nice. Average price for camping spots per night.
A solid 3 but definitely not a 4.5. Half of the amenities advertised don't work right laundry, splash pad, pedal boats, creek/pond are both stagnant water so not really attractive. Pool closes at 8pm and that's pretty much the main event. You cannot pack your stuff and hang out after check out on Sunday like most places allow. Nice looking trees and park for kids though. Game room requires cash. Would stay again knowing these things, but only for one night when it definitely won't rain.
Love this cute lil campground and all it has to offer. Staff is phenomenal there is so much to do here. Pool is great campers that live here are all friendly. Little trails to walk canoe or paddle boat rentals catch and release pond that u can fish without a license being on private property cabin rentals, full hookups 30 or 50 amp, and tent camping. This is a one stop place propane fill ups for tanks not for built in rv tanks usually have things going on weekend nights. I can go on and on. Good prices and will def return here when we wanna come visit all our friends and family in tangi parish. Can't believe I was born and raised in tangi livingston parishes and never knew this was here. This place rocks. The website has pricing for rates. Do more photos when I get up front. These are from my spot 170
Family oriented campground that is well cared for and fun for all ages!
Very clean and quiet park. The only downside was the spotty WiFi service but the park hosts are very open, honest, and upfront about this issue. The hosts themselves were very friendly and ran an excellent park. This campground would be perfect for families with children because the playground was large and well kept. Other amenities included a pool, game room, laundry, bathrooms, and fun activities such as an outdoor concert and Bingo. I'd definitely stay here again.
Alot of the trails and driveways are grown up and bridges are old and rickety or damaged. The paddle boats and canoes are no longer useable and the splash pad is only available upon request.
We enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, escorted me to my campsite. not too loud at night, 5 mph speed limit in the park enforced. a lot of shade. full hookups, spacious sites. I was a bit let down by the nature trails part of it but other than that no complaints. Would recommend.Service: 4/5
I love a campground with plenty of trees, a pond, and good host. Which this place has! I understand why some campgrounds have permanent sites, and it's great that people love to come back here. But a huge turnoff is that some of the permanent sites are an eyesore. Junk piled up around campers, run down looking storage buildings, and run down campers that appear to have been sitting forever and appear unlivable. This place has a lot of potential, if it were just to be cleaned up a bit.
The owners are great people. It’s good clean safe place because they dont allow nothing else yes they have rules like everywhere and enforce them if not it wudnt be a good place. lots to do like bingo, corn hole, bands a good bit, game room, pool, splash park, trails and washer dryers restroom which is always clean.... lots of privacy, shade and plenty of room ...I have memories from when I was a kid and great place to make new ones... love it cudnt ask for better place !!!
It hasn't changed to much...the people are very friendly,..it is nice and clean
