First I’m sorry for any patients that had to wait on the day my husband went in for a pressure recheck. His 8:45 am appointment should have be a quick in and out, letting us know the meds were working. However it was not a quick appointment. It seems my husband’s pressure increased to a level that he could lose his vision. The nurses and doctor worked diligently on my husband to get his pressure down and keep him as comfortable as possible and still see all of the patients that were on the schedule. We were in the office for almost 5 hours and I know there were patients upset because their appointments were taking longer than expected. We often think that an appointment for eye glasses should be relatively quick, but often forget there can be emergency patients that become a higher priority than a regular exam. The office staff was awesome on Friday and hopefully with the emergency surgery on Monday he will make a full recovery. Meanwhile to keep the pressures down, we are putting 4 different prescription drops in his eyes 4 times per day and taking oral medication and praying we don’t need to go to the ER before Monday. Thank you to the doctors and nurses for everything you did to keep my husband comfortable and calm.

Very unprofessional office. The woman who did my test was very dirty and smelled terrible. She had terrible body odor and her glasses were disgusting!!! I spent almost two hours in one small room with her doing the eye exam. I have never had an eye exam take two hours. When I did see the eye Dr, he walked in never said a word did a couple of basic things and left. Your eyes are far to valuable to waste your time here. Never again! Miss. T

Should have known not to go here based off of all the other terrible reviews but I made the mistake of going anyways. I made an appointment for dry eyes with Dr. Funk. I went inside to my scheduled appointment and waited almost 2 hours to be seen by Dr. Funk. I was then in the room for less than 5 minutes because they were trying to quickly get me out of there. He pushed on my eyes and determined that I needed to purchase these bean bag eye warmers that I needed to use regularly and it would fix my dry eyes. Conveniently enough they have them in stock for you to purchase so he up sold me on the idea and I bought them for around 20 dollars. Took them home and used them for months and they did not work at all. I had asked to get plugs at the appointment because they seemed to have worked for others that I know and he said it would not make sense to get them for my condition. I then left feeling like nothing was accomplished and that I had just wasted my time and money. I then didn’t get a bill for my appointment through the mail and had to call months later to make sure I didn’t owe anything after insurance. I was told that I owed 105 dollars after insurance that I had to pay and that it was 125 dollars before insurance. I asked if they would accommodate me at all on the price due to waiting almost 2 hours to get into the appointment that only lasted a few minutes and she told me no and that the price was determined by the doctor. I would give this place a 0 star if possible. I spent 125 dollars in total to go waste hours of my time waiting for a 3 minute appointment that I was just sold something that I didn’t need and then would have had my bill sent to a collections agency because I was never mailed the bill. This place has the worst service I have ever seen and Dr. Funk had absolutely no idea what he was talking about but did a great job at scamming me out of 125 dollars. In short… take your business elsewhere this place is a scam. There is a reason they have a 2.9 star rating.

I have always had to wait a while whenever I have been to see the fine doctors at IEC Plainfield. I have seen Dr. Keeling and Dr. Barina for two very painful eye problems during the past ten years. Both times I have gone elsewhere first and been misdiagnosed. During the most recent episode, they worked me into their already full schedule and then took the time to get to the root of my problem. I am sure that they are giving the same time and attention to others with their problems. For that kind of care, I am willing to wait patiently and let them do their job with everyone.

My husband and I were there for the first time today. The business area team was fantastic. They were very informative, kind and caring. The clinical team was on task and very through. We love Dr. Brandon Terry-has personality and took time to explain our concerns. We are new to the area and grateful for the referral!

No matter which doctor you see, plan on being there at least 2 hours! No joke! Every time I come here it takes at least 2 hours...even for a simple eye exam! This is the only eye doctor I have been to that takes this long. Try Plainfield Eye Care.

Wonderful experience with a very professional and capable staff, particularly "Tom" who assisted Dr. Hopen with my procedure I had a YAG laser procedure done to correct some post cataract scarring. Dr. Hopen is a bit on the younger side, but he's a good guy who was clearly very knowledgeable and skilled. Entire procedure was completed in less than ten minutes, and I'm now seeing with a clarity I haven't experienced in many, many years. Thanks!

Great team. Very thorough exam, diagnosis, and recommendation for eye care. I've been using the Indiana Eye Clinic 10 years, wouldn't go anywhere else.

Worst service one could ever expect at the doctor’s clinic! Wait time is usually over 2 hours ! Ridiculous ! Would never recommend it ! Go anywhere but here !
