Absolute rudest, worst, uncaring staff I’ve ever encountered. Had an mri and the entire department were rude and short tempered. I feel they missed my vein for the contrast on purpose. I was last mri of the day and was 30 minutes early. Dr. Donegan’s staff are complete morons and absolute a****les. No one cares about anything you have to say, even if it’s asking to have the link sent to your email for online bill pay.
I had a MRI. The Receptionist and two Radiologist were superb, true assets to the experience. The facility was extremely clean, well done cleaning staff. Parking was only $2, pay by card. You can enter the facility from the parking garage on the first floor.
For a university setting I've never had a specialist tell me so often that they don't know much about my condition or willing to do studies or listen to the patients who live with a 1 in a million neurological dease. In a case of such a rare disease that has very few treatment options that most only show helpful with about half of us with the disease are the teachers , they learn from us. Yet quickly dismiss when you tell them about things that seem more helpful and what's not helpful. Maybe we might get somewhere if some of these drs that don't know would actually listen and study what patients are telling them what helps.
I choose not to return for the following reason; my first visit was NOT with a dr. Nor. a specialist as requested by my primary care dr. Instead I saw a PA who's attitude was nonchalant and standard. All she did was read my file, did a standard pitch and prescribed standard basic meds that were no help to me. I followed up with my dr. and explained my concerns with this visit and was told by my dr. The specialist I was supposed to see she heard was NOT accepting new patients. She also said she was told I had no insurance, which I provided on the day of my appt. I will be in contact with my insurance company regarding a bill as again I was to see a specialist and did not. Very disappointed with my overall visit with IU.
The infusion staff here are fantastic and very friendly. My neurologist and some other doctors I see are in this building as well and they're very knowledgeable and for the most part I have liked all the doctors I've seen here.
I couldn't even get into the place. I needed to have a EMG; but the streets were blocked off from the construction.
Horrible place. After having to switch doctors after my very first appointment due to negligence, I am now facing a drawn out issue with my employer which caused me to have to reach out for my medical information and certain forms needed to follow up. I was asked for the wrong information originally, and returned with the correct information and full disclosure on what has happened. I have been met with weeks of calling literally daily, and over ten different employees claiming they have marked my issue as “urgent”. I made another call yesterday & was made aware that these messages are not even being opened, which may or may not cost me my job. Very unorganized and careless. Would never recommend.
Been waiting for over a week for a paper to be faxed so my Child with Tramatic brain injury can get his tooth pulled, Still nothing..4 weeks of pain and Nobody in the office can fax a paper back?? I think we will be finding a new care team all together. If u need something done. Don't be in a hurry cause it aint gonna happen
As my brother's caregiver, once his treatments are finished, I will never return to this place. If it weren't for him being placed with his current therapists, Ryan and David, I wouldn't have brought him back after his initial appointment with his prior therapist. I had security unnecessarily called on me to have me escorted out of the office. Then I was publicly embarrassed and shamed in the waiting room in front of other waiting patients. And to add insult to injury, statements were made in front of my brother to turn him against me to make it seem like I didn't care about his treatments and make me look like a monster. I was not loud, belligerent, nor posing a threat to anyone's safety. This was all due to me kindly declining a mask because of documented health reasons, in which I need every ounce of breath that I breathe. I was never asked to leave the office altogether until they sicked security on me. I was sitting alone, and well over 6 feet away from everyone else. And when I refused to discuss those private health issues, I was pretty much told that HIPPA didn't matter. There's much more that needs to be said to completely understand, but I'll wait until my brother is finished at this place. Needless to say, only because of my brother's well-being, and the kindness and great care that he is receiving from Ryan and David, I endure sitting in the garage while he has his sessions. I love my brother. He is the only brother that I have. I want to see him get better. And he has been improving a lot. I thank God he was placed with Ryan and David. And I know pwople will say, "it's just a mask". But until you've walked a mile in my shoes, you'll never know the feeling like your very last breath is being sucked out of you.
I decided to support a loved one dealing with Parkinson's. As I stepped up to go in, I was yelled at about not entering without a mask. Before I could literally reply, the staff member yells Leave!! I looked puzzled and asked to use a bathroom. No. After a five block walk to find a bathroom, I will never return to that place. What shabby treatment at the hands of a supposed caregiver. Thanks for Illegally forcing me to be away from my loved one!!
