Established in 1971, Indiana University School of Medicine-Evansville is the southern most regional campus – and warmest climate – within the Indiana University School of Medicine hub-and-spokes system.
IUSM-Evansville is located on the beautiful campus of the University of Southern Indiana. In 2013 we expanded into 3rd year clerkships and in 2014 we will expand into 4th year rotations. IUSM-E is in the process of a major expansion. Through collaboration with local hospitals and universities (Ivy Tech Southwest, University of Evansville & University of Southern Indiana) a new multi-institutional academic health science & research center is being formed. This center will allow for expanded healthcare related programs and residencies to be brought to the Evansville region.
