Expanding the CDF Freedom Schools® movement throughout the city of Indianapolis.
The Indianapolis Freedom School Partnership, Inc, was founded as the result of two successful CDF Freedom Schools® summers in Indianapolis sponsored by St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church in 2015 and All Souls Unitarian Church in 2016. CDF Freedom Schools sites offer free summer reading and enrichment programs adapted from a national model created by the Children’s Defense Fund.
The mission is to promote, plant, seek funding and sustain CDF Freedom Schools® sites in Indianapolis, in partnership with public schools, faith-based and other community partners.
