Great stylists ruined by terrible management and customer service. I had a child care issue come up on a Sunday and I needed to move an appointment the day of. At first Indira refused this request unless I paid a cancellation fee of 1/2 the haircut $30. I said if they were going to do that I would just leave the appointment as is. Then Indira reached out to me via text and offered me a new appointment on Tuesday. Problem solved, right. Not quite. They still charged me the cancellation fee and then refused to refund it even though it was their idea to move my appointment. Despite being a loyal customer for years, who had never missed or cancelled any appointment, the manager refused my refund and offered to give me a credit on some other spa service not a haircut which I never have or will use. I will never go there again and told them as much. Too bad because the stylists are nice and do good work.

Olivia provided an exceptional hydrating facial experience. Her expertise and attention to detail were evident throughout the treatment. She used high-quality products to moisturize and rejuvenate my skin, leaving it feeling incredibly refreshed and hydrated. Olivia's gentle techniques and soothing atmosphere made for a relaxing and pampering session. I highly recommend her for anyone seeking a revitalizing facial treatment! Avoid. After booking, they called to change the stylist and time more than once. That should have been a sign of what was to come. The stylist assigned appeared unsure of how to cut using scissors on shorter hair. The cut ended up completely different in the front and back, resulting in me needing to walk to a different salon to have it fixed. I called later to provide the feedback and the best they could do was offer for me to come back in a week later to fix it. No offer of refund, or follow-up from a manager. In talking to another stylist, I later learned that the stylist assigned to me was 'training'. It appears they may have utilized a 'colorist' to cover the appointment.Service: Haircut

The 5 stars are for Michaela - she's fantastic. I've been to too many stylists where my hair is just "okay" when I leave, but I've gone to Michaela three times now and each time I leave the salon and actually love my hair on day one! And the best part is, I usually love my hair MORE in the days and weeks to follow my appointment, which is incredibly rare. Michaela does a wonderful job with color - specifically the balayage. I booked an appointment for cut and iron style. I was charged extra for having thick hair how is that my fault and did not receive the iron style due to time. The haircut I requested received negative comments from the stylist who made the decision to give me a different cut that was more “modern” that I have not enjoyed. Ive been a customer of aveda salons exclusively for 5+ years. I will not being returning to this particular salon unfortunately /: very disappointed bc i absolutely love aveda and have always had positive experiences

This was my first massage with Chris. I did a massage and cupping, and it was fabulous. Chris is so talented. I not only get massages to relax, but I use them to help with inflammation and I felt instant relief. I have seen many massage therapists in Chicago and none have been efficient till now. Been going to Indira for years! Lovely experience everytime for salon and spa services. Had a cut with Renee recently and will definitely be sticking with her :

one of the employees was swearing in front of guests waiting in the lobby, and I left with an incredibly disappointing haircut that did not resemble my reference photo at all. stylist was scissor happy and hacked inches of my hair off to create a style that is ugly, outdated, again nothing like my reference image, and doesn't make any sense. I wanted curtain bangs and left with half of a bowlcut, essentially. there's nothing to be done now, since half of my length has been cut off in some places, and I will probably resort to wearing hats or headbands for the rest of the month. wasted money and time.Service: Haircut

Small little day spa with super kind people. Facial was a bit rough when it came to extractions. Massage by Chris was great, but just ended so abruptly. Some kinks need to get worked out here. Especially with the website and making appts.

This was my first time at Indira. Yana listened to what I was looking for in a new style and gave me one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I am loving my new hairstyle!!! Thank you Yana!!! See you in three months!!
