I really enjoy this movie theater. Located in downtown greenfield, it's a wonderful place to go see a movie. Not handicap accessible.
Old style theater showing the latest movies. Nice small and large theaters with good matinees. Only dislike was the seats, the padding is not great for longer films .
Good atmosphere and nice seats! Need more Pioneer Valley Brewery items.
The sound was a bit quieter than typical and slightly muffled, but the seats were comfortable and had arm rests that you could put down or up and they had beverage holders in them. Leg room was more than most offer, and if nobody is in front of you, you can push their arm rests down and put your feet through the gap.
It was nice not alot of people. Staff was friendly, bathrooms clean. Seats were not the most comfortable.
Travellers, this is a wonderful, independent movie theater. It is a true hometown theater locally owned and operated. They have a great selection of current movies for viewing. There is a wide variety of snacks, candies, and drinks, including hard cider and beer. The folks working there are extremely nice and go out of their way to be kind and helpful. If you are planning an evening out we suggest you check it out. We recommend.
I've been going there since I was a kid, the chairs are comfortable, the lobby has video games and a "tokens for candy" wall, it's modified quarter vend machines. The restrooms are huge, and clean. The snack counter offers a large variety of sweet and salty, and they recently started serving beer and wine! With proper I.D. of course. They're fixing up the place a bit too. I would highly recommend this theatre. There's also movie based events and the best part is it's like stepping back in time, it's a classic theatre setting, feels old and comfortable. Like your grandma's hugs.
My girlfriend and I went out for a classic dinner-and-a-movie date night last night. Because the restaurant that we ate at was busy, we ended up arriving at the movie theater half an hour past the start of the movie. At this point, we were fully expecting to have to come back and see it another time. We asked for a refund on the tickets I had purchased in advance, and we were offered vouchers which is basically what I wanted anyway, as I only cared about seeing the movie. However, as we were receiving the vouchers, a nice gentleman - unforunately, I don't know his name, and I'm unsure if he was just a manager or the owner - came by, found out what movie we had come to see, found out that we were the only people there to see the movie, and restarted it for us so that my girlfriend and I could enjoy a wonderful movie together in the theater by ourselves. The kind man who helped us even stayed a little longer than usual to keep the theater open for us to finish our movie and enjoy our date without feeling rushed out. This was, without a doubt, some of the best customer service I've ever received, and it made for a wonderful and memorable night for my girlfriend and I. On top of this, the theater was just generally nice overall - clean, interesting layout, nice auditoriums, good ticket prices. This theater is absolutely worth the patronage.
Initially was so hopeful. Quirky little theatre at first entry. Seemed different/fun. Concession stand had plenty of options. Came to see the new Marvel actin flick. It was showing in the theater on the right and up the stairs balcony theatre. That’s when the magic ended. Seats were surprisingly new/comfortable BUT the movie screen had damage/defect creating a bright noticeable line all the way from the top to the bottom of the screen just off center. Whomp whomp. I wanted to like this place so much. Damn. Update may 2022- gave it a second try. Currently sweating from my forehead in an uncomfortably hot theatre #7 sequel to fantastic beasts . I’ve decided I’m just going to drive the extra 20 min to Hadley from now on. The penny pinching business model here just isn’t going to get anymore of my money. If people are going to an actual theatre it damn well better not be uncomfortably hot.
Had a fantastic time watching Casablanca in this historic theater in downtown Greenfield.
