New Private Cigar Club
There has been a private cigar club that has been in existence for about fifteen years in another state that I am a member of and have enjoyed for about ten years. I am now based out of Indianapolis and want to establish the same type of place as I miss the other cigar club environment and all it has to offer.
The Indy Cigar Club will be a private club for it’s members and guests only. The club will be locked at all times but accessible 24/7 my it’s members via an access control system. The club will have private cigar lockers for its members. The club will include a fully stocked bar. Through out the club will be multiple flat screen TVs and comfortable leather chairs. There will be other areas such a pool table areas, tables for meals, meetings, games, etc.
My experience with the other cigar club has been most members use the club at their leisure in a consistent manner throughout the month. Some members will stop by the club several times per week on their way home from work. Some members will mostly come on weekends. Some members may come most days and have lunch delivered to the club. Some members may just come on the weekly members night and special occasions that are scheduled at the club.
It has been my experience that the members of the club usually develop a relationship with other club members and many end up doing business with or even vacationing with other members.
There will be relationships with cigar vendors and manufacturers and the members usually end up just emailing cigar orders to the cigar vendors approved with doing business at the club and the cigar vendor has the club manager put the cigars in the member’s cigar locker.
At this point in time, we are looking to establish the first level of cigar member called Founding Members. A Founding Member will have certain membership rights above and beyond other membership classes at the club. The Founding Member will provide a one-time initiation fee to the club. This one-time initiation fee will help the overall build out of the club.
We have put together a Founding Member Letter of Intent form to be signed by people who think this would be a great place to be a part of. This Letter of Intent is in no way binding of anything at any level. By signing the Letter of Intent, we feel you are interested in this club enough to sign a letter. Most people won’t sign this letter because their interest level just isn’t that high.
