Horrible experience!!! They are only looking to take your money and do not care. They will schedule unnecessary appointments just to charge you a copay. They are thieves and should be investigated for fraudulent and unethical practices. Dr Alvarado is incompetent and only knows how to waste people's time.
dr alvarado was not welcoming or nice. everyone in the office was so kind from the front desk to the nurses. but that doctor himself gave me the run around and dodged all my questions and concerns and was so overwhelming. he rushed me and i left in tears. it was only a 10 minute visit given so much information to go other places, i wish he was as caring and nice as the other people there. i definitely just felt like another number he had to see that he didn’t really believe.
Office is dirty, front staff are very nice but the home infusion staff is rude and doesn’t seem to want to do her job. Dr. Alvarado told my husband at one of his appointments that he wanted to extend his home IV antibiotics to 6 weeks instead of 4, but never made a note about it in their system. It’s been a fight ever since to make sure my husband gets the treatment he needs to literally save his foot. Ridiculous. Will be changing doctors ASAP.
Dr Alvarado came to consult with me today while I was in the hospital. After 15 mins he left and I was in tears. He’s abrupt and was spouting about hospital policy, which turned out was WRONG!!! I would never go see him or this office. Do not go there. Wish I could give negative stars.
We found this practice very clean, very professional, staff most kind and had a great experience. Dr. Alvarado met with my husband in the hospital and he was most informative and helpful. Dr. Marinez was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful to us.
What a phenomenal physician. He's caring and down to earth. It's easy to talk to him and understand what he tells me back. I went home knowing what my treatment plan is. 10/10 would recommend.
Dr. Alvarado is careless and doesn’t seem to genuinely care about his patients, they are just another number to him. On my first appointment with him he called me the wrong name and on the second visit he actually hit me “on accident” when rushing to do a procedure! In addition, I was prescribed antibiotics for a bacteria I didn’t even have.
Refused me my treatment because I had a $2,000 bill, that my insurance had JUST paid and i JUST recieved the week i was supposed to recieve treatment. They care more about money than someone's well being. I now have to be on steroids and am having health complications. Luckily I have an amazing physician at Florida hospital who got me into a new facility right away. I could have built up antibodies against my medication and it would have never worked for me again. Money should never come before someone's wellbeing in healthcare.
I accolade Dr. Liliana Valle Rios for saving my wife’s life. After a 54-day infectious development period caused by acupuncture of the lumbar spine, Dr. Rios administered antibiotics and the effects were miraculous. Our neurosurgeon had postponed lumbar surgery, and Dr. Rios immediately responded with a regimen of antibiotic therapy to counter enterococcus faecalis, a gram-negative killer blood bacteria. In my view, she didn’t let diagnostics interfere with the administration of empirical antibiotics therapy. Waiting at a nurse’s station, she responded immediately when notified of the delay. Kudos to Dr. Rios!
NP Page from Baltimore is clueless! For her to come out and openly say at a second visit that she hasn't a clue of what to do next because your blood work seems to be ok. Oh wait thats because she did not test for what she claimed the root problem was to begin with! Will not be going back there ever again!!
