you guys treated me with the uptmost respect even though my condition might be different, as a non-practicing but nursing experienced student i myself would personally see no patient any different as any other sick patient only that the condition has to be treated properly. the other place i went to wouldn't listen and i got bounced back and forth not once but twice in one night and you guys finally just said here we'll take you. you quite frankly saved my life and treated me with no disrespect and also went above and beyond with testing and made sure i was comfortable. i would reccomend this hospital over virtua the layers get worse depending on which location, coooper might as well retire or vorhees. the staff are very caring and will listen and help you as much as they can.
Terrible ER. After waiting over 2 hours in Vineland inspira we drove to this one, there was one other person in the waiting room who I assume had been there for a long time because he eventually left and we waited over an hour after he left and still hadn’t even been called into triage. All while being the only people there. When we walked in we were told to drop our paper into a bin and then no one even acknowledged us until we kept asking how long because of the severe pain my wife is in. No one cares and they make it very obvious. Inspira is just a terrible hospital to begin with. Needless to say it’s almost 5 am and she still hasn’t been called into even triage so we left without being seen.
Came here while back when I was at residency program in Camden NJ but they wanted me in another facility to keep me away from the group due to several incidents in May. I just wanted to say that this hospital is okay but the food was good better than residential. The only complaint I have is not being there too long like being there for 5 days only? Come on! More like 10 days! Also the staff were a little snippy but anyways thank you
This evening we took our 4 year old P to the ER. He woke up this morning unable to walk so we took brought him in. We were already hesitate about Bridgeton’s ER but it was the closest. Well we should have took that ride to anywhere but there. Dr. Edwards was HORRIBLE!!! No bedside matter at all. She walked in the room didn’t speak, was trying to hold a conversation with the 4 year old and never address the parent. When the results from the x-ray came back she walked into the room stated nothing showed up on the report and walked out!!! She walked out without giving any other suggestions or things we should try ANYTHING. Then the nurse came in and said try to get him to walk and left. This is CRAZY!! INSPIRA YOU NEED TO DO BETTER, DR EDWARDS YOU DEFINITELY NEED TO DO BETTER!!! I guess she was having a bad day, If so she should have stayed home. Now I have to take my son to another hospital. Google was more help.
I was very scared to place my daughter in an inpatient facility. I was new to this and wanted the best for her. I’ve read some scary reviews. I denied the first option they offered us bc it gave me really bad vibes. I’m so glad I did bc she came here to Inspira of Bridgeton. Let me tell you how pleased I was with the whole week stay. Every time I called someone answered. Not once did I call and get an answering machine. Everyone updated me on my daughter. The dr was amazing!! He cares a lot about his patients. He even called me to update me or ask questions if he had any. Stephanie was great she made the release to an outpatient place so easy for me and even mailed back our belongings that were left behind!! I hope this helps with anyone who is having a difficult time like I did picking a place! Also Jill, my daughters nurse was amazing and so helpful. The staff really made me feel at ease. Thank you all for everything!
The care here is bad here especially the emergency room. I’ve been here since 1 pm because my son is a danger to himself and others. It is now almost 10 pm and my son and I are still here in this er and is still waiting to be taken to his bed. The care is horrible. The man nurse has a nasty attitude. Something needs to be done about the care of patients here. I understand every situation is different but damn this is rediculous. I am not happy especially with the wait and care of this hospital!!!!
My son had Suicidal thoughts and we brought him there based on several recommendations from friends of ours who are Social Workers . We have nothing but positive things to say . The staff was supportive and caring . The on-site social worker was wonderful and very helpful . My son seemed to adjust well , the first night was tough but they did a great job making him feel comfortable and got him to open up . I was skeptical reading other reviews but when I checked all other suitable facilities none were positive , makes me think who’s actually posting the reviews . I hope this review helps others who are unsure make the right decision.
Wow Inspira has become lousy. Staff treat Visitors like theyre sub human. The Covid regulations are embarrassing and its a shame. They are only hurting the mental well being of the patients and even theyre loved ones with these ridiculous policies. Power hungry misinformed nurses preventing loved ones from interacting with patients who need that interaction. They have turned it into a jail No one answers phone calls or returns them. If you do reach anyone prepare to be blown off and given attitude. And they dont even have the decency to tell you if someone you love and care about is ok. Thats not Medical information. Such a shame. I remember when the hospital staff treated its patients and visitors with respect and people would be excited to see friends and family. They made me sort through clothing on the floor in the lobby. If this is the future of health care we are all doomed
I am currently at this Hospital and so far the only good I can say is the security guard is nice and helpful at ER. I had just dropped off my friend and went to park so then I could enter and see that she got taken care of. I walk in and the security guard was the first one encountered to ask where to find her and her daughter. He asks was it the one who couldn't really talk and I said yes. So he directed me towards where I would find them. I walk in and they asked if they could help. So I informed them who I was looking for and described. They told me nobody here. They questioned if they really were here and i said to them i know they are i drove them myself. It wasnt till they as in the people i was looking for came out the room that the staff acknowledged they were here. Come to find out the nurse never checked them in and let the staff know they were here. Afterward another nurse came in to apologize for the error. But the one attending my friend as nurse since the beginning seems rude and like she doesn't wanna be here. Better off just going to Vineland. Dr is very helpful though so far. They just need to step it up in communication and attitude with staff. In my opinion.
The worst!!! I took my daughter to the er in vineland, to be screened for crisis, so that she could be sent to bridgeton. So far, we've been in the er for 20 hours. They have lost the paperwork once, and now they are saying that we have to be re-screened. There is no end in site, and my daughter might not even get admitted. It should not take 24 hours to move a patient 10 miles down the road. Anything more than an hour of paperwork is absurd. And they tell me that if I leave, I cannot come back in. I can't even go out for fresh air. I'm stuck in this er.
