Helping Horse and Rider embodying their brilliance together through movement and integrative bodywork ♥
At Instill Harmony we offer a gentle blending of Rolfing® Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral, Movement work, and a heart centered approach to helping you and your horse feel their best!
Embodied equestrian sessions are where the horse and rider receive bodywork together and then take it into motion enhancing integration and body awareness.
It's bodywork in motion for the horse and rider in order to help them come together. When the horse and rider change at the same time it allows them to integrate together and develop a better relationship from a heart centered space. Both the horse and rider will get gentle bodywork through the session.
The session is customized to give you support in the areas where you feel you need it.
We start from the ground and then move to the saddle. This isnt about training you to ride. It is about helping you feel what it is like to be in your body and how that speaks to your horse. It is meant to complement the skills you already have and enhance your ability to understand what trainer asks of you. The horse and rider will receive bodywork together and then learn how to integrate in motion so that they move in harmony with one another.
Other services include Structural integration sessions for horses, dogs and people. This work helps horses(and other animals) tap into the innate wisdom of the body to enhance their experience of their world and heal themselves. When they are able to access and cultivate connection throughout the whole body they can move with ease and grace.
If injury, trauma, or life circumstances lead to disconnection in the body, it creates a disconnect in the mind, body and spirit. In addition it leaves quite areas in the tissue where the connection has diminished. This results in the horse lacking access to their whole body and weakness.
The brilliant part is that this has the possibility to change through cultivating awareness, helping enhance the health of the tissue(especially the fascia), movement, understanding the bio-mechanics of the horse and rider, breath, and an allowance for shift in perception of whats possible.
