Our services include; chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, rehabilitation and sports injury treatment. We specialize in non-surgical orthopedics, pain management, and physical rehabilitation for a wide range of injuries and conditions including; back and neck pain/strain, extremity pain/injuries/sprains, tendinitis, arthritis, cervical and/or lumbar disc degeneration/bulges/herniation, bursitis, and TMJ to mention a few. We also provide treatment for injuries caused by automobile accidents and workplace injuries. We can help reverse the effects of injuries caused by repetitive motion, poor posture, and poor lifting habits. At IOC, we believe in promoting wellness through injury prevention and health maintenance.

Richard A. Hills, PT, DC, FAAOMPT
Dr. Hills holds degrees and licenses in both Chiropractic and Physical Therapy, graduating from Northwestern Health Sciences University with honors in 1993, receiving the degree Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). He graduated from California State University, Fresno in 1985 receiving his degree in Physical Therapy (PT), graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Hills has extensive post-graduate training completing residency training in a neurological physical therapy-rehabilitation approach called PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation) at the world renowned Kaiser Foundation Rehabilitation Center in the San Francisco area. He also received 2 years of post-graduate training through the acclaimed Folsom Physical Therapy Orthopedic Manual Therapy program leading to a Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapist (FAAOMPT).
Phillip J. Kamps, DC, CCSP
Dr. Kamps is a 2000 graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University, College of Chiropractic where he received a Bachelor of Science in human biology and a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Kamps was a registered nurse. He graduated in 1986 from Saint Joseph’s Hospital School of Nursing with an RN degree and practiced at the University of Minnesota Hospital for 12 years – 7 years in Hematology/Oncology and 5 years in Medical ICU. During his nursing career, he developed a keen interest in natural/alternative approaches to health and healing which spurred his transition to Chiropractic. He joined the Institute for Orthopedics & Chiropractic in June, 2010.
Nick Hastad MS, DC, CCSP
Dr. Hastad is a graduate of University of Western States Chiropractic College in Portland, Oregon where he received his Doctor of Chiropractic and a Master's in Exercise and Sports Science. Dr. Hastad attended Minnesota State University of Moorhead where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Dr. Hastad is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner (CCSP) and is currently pursuing his Diplomat with the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP). Dr. Hastad is trained in a Diversified adjusting style, Gonstead Technique, certified in Graston (instrument assistant soft tissue technique), and other muscle energy techniques. Dr. Hastad strives to enhance his knowledge by staying current with research and techniques, and also believes in the team health approach working in conjunction with other health care providers. He enjoys working with all types of athletes as a sports chiropractor. Dr. Hastad has a strong passion for his patients, helping to relieve their pain, return them to their daily activities, and optimizing function which is not limited to athletes alone.
Chad Hendrickson, DC
Dr. Hendrickson graduated from Minnesota State University of Moorhead where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Exercise Science. Dr. Hendrickson received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN. Dr. Hendrickson practices the Gonstead technique of Chiropractic. This technique is focused on structural health and on fixing misalignments and fixations or subluxations throughout the spine and the rest of the body. Dr. Hendrickson practices a variety of well-known and unique soft tissue mobilization therapies. Combining the two therapeutic approaches dramatically improves the rehab process and decreases the amount of time you spend on the sidelines, enabling you to get back to your favorite activities as quickly as possible.
